I have done professional research / writing on mood disorders (in a previous life) and she is the ultimate resource in helping people KEEP GOING and/or start over. I found Julie's book through this web site originally, I think.

I just looked this book up and based on the reviews (Amazon's as well as Script's) I'm going to order 2 copies--one for me and one for my friend.
thanks for the tip!

THANK YOU for recommending this book!
I went out to the bookstore - well, not right away, too depressed - found the book, read the first few chapters and had an intense panic attack because I responded so much to the book.
Wow, do i need this. It's the first time I've really understood the nuts and bolts of how depression is affecting me - of course I know in general terms, but this is great. And the hope that comes from the suggestions - maybe I can actually make progress.
This board is not only a wonderful support place but a great resource.
Thank you!
