Hi MellButler, welcome to the board! You mention: "Dr. suspects an undetected infection going on in me somewhere....I have had elevated white count for at least 2-3 yrs." Have you had a dental checkup in that time, I wonder. I once had a wisdom tooth removed, as there was no room for it once it was through, and the dentist said there was a low grade infection under it that would have been dumping crap into my bloodstream for who knows how long. Antibiotics fixed it. But I never had any dental pain or soreness, so did not suspect there was anything wrong with my teeth. Regards, Lizzie

Hey Mellbutler! The only thing that matters is what you do tomorrow. Saturday!! Are you able to committ to a certain time frame or task? There is a wonderful person on here that has committed to 8 minutes a day(minimum.) This small promise has made a huge difference. Will you fall again? Maybe. But you will get back up again. In the process you will learn to identify what you need to , what good habits to have, what you need to get rid of and so on. The key is Saturday. Let us know and when you can do it...so can we.

Hi, Mell, seems we have a good bit in common - difficult pregnancy right after moving to our house, multiple pregnancies close together, use a family closet, etc. I have 5 children, ages 3, 5, 7, 9, and 21. Still trying to get organized since we moved here 6-1/2 years ago. I hope you get your health issues improved without much trouble! Look forward to hearing more from you.

hey mell. i really don't think those pictures you posted look all that bad! this looks totally do-able. i know it looks bad to YOU because you remember it when it was clean, and have a lot of self judgment about getting back to this place. you have had a lot of losses. grief and depression really set you back. to you, it looks worse now that you know how good it could look and did look.
you can do this. you really can. one little thing at a time. it just looks a bit messy; not filthy. not hopeless. pretty darn good for having two young kids, actually. i was expecting to see much worse from the way you described it.
the thing about the vitamin D; i am on a prescription dose of vitamin D and am on week 3 or 4 and am noticing this week that the misery i've been in for many months is slightly less. i think there's truth to this. my vit. D was very, very low. i'm still depressed (lifelong) but i think even that is slightly better.
