Fear what a big chunk of desease that has poisoned my life so far. It seems to have this party inside that is an invitation to all saying, "Come on in" It doesnt invite anthing good or positive, only the great big bad and ugly into the house of my mind.....With a big screeching holt....This party is cancelled, the house is in foreclosure and needs to be cleaned, it is SOLD not to the highest bidder but to FREEDOM.
Today is the day this mountain I plainly see that I created as a big pile of baggage and rubbish obstucting the road that I must walk. I cant get around it on either side, its blocked. I must climb it because if I dont I will forever be stuck right here at the base of the baggage in a ribbish dump of memories, pain and past failures.
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.”
- Habakkuk 3:19
1. My answer, the one and only guide that i must follow through the mountain. The only one who speaks my language, to show me how to effectively climb without failure or getting lost.
2.He prepares my way, He knows what I will need to sustain my way. As my guide He has packed my bag with the things I need....strength, not just for the climb but also for trust that I can believe He knows the way.
3.A hind is a female deer, and a hart is the male, or buck. A female deer can place her hind (back) feet exactly where her front feet stepped, not one inch off! She is able to run with abandonment! In times of danger and protecting her young, she is able to run securely, and not get "off track". That is how I must see myself as I climb, one cleaning job at a time.
Will you come climb with us? Tell me about your day on your mountain, tell me what stategies you have learned as we climb and conquer like the feamale deer.
