  Cando, this is for you, and your battle for freedom from Paper H*££!!! I'm very impressed that you've done so much, so far. I have thrown away 12 more items of trash. Tea bag wrappers that were nearly glued to the floor - small but disgusting. They count! Empty cottage cheese cartons. My houseplants deserve better than that! (I probably have a 100 real flower pots - I'm sure no one on here doubts that! If I need to plant, I'll use one of those! 1981 items - 12 1969 left to go. I need to get with it. I am not throwing away nearly enough stuff. Keeping this talley is very good in another way it makes me realize how little I'm throwing away.

Dayeanu -- Thank you! I think you are doing great! Feb. 18th7 bottles/cans into recycle bag 489 - 7 = 482 to go! (Yes, I am counting every single one of those darn papers! Paper H*ll! that's what I'm in... It feels good to release even 1 of them. They seem to multiply like rabbits when I'm not looking. I am shooting for more than 3 rounds of 2012 items tossed this year. Last year, I did 3 rounds of 2011... and would like to get totally out of paper h*ll this year!). CD  |

Wow, you guys are doing great. I have thrown away more items from my kitchen, 1 old container of Green Chile from the fridge, about 2 or 3 oz of bacon that I bought for a treat over Xmas, a bottle of Ken's Salad Dressing that was best by 11/11, never even opened, and a V-8 bottle =- 1 serving and fruit and 1 serving of Veggies in every drink - but pretty old I think. 4 items + 7 items = 11 items.

Messime! Great job tossing from your kitchen! Feb. 19thput 4 bottles/cans in recycle bag shredded papers for 15 minutes - 218 papers shredded!!! 5 papers into recycle bag tossed "to be shred" bag! 2nd one! 482 -228 254 to go! Thank you, Saffron.  BTW, great job tossing that old lunch bag/purse!  Feb. 20th3 little boxes into recycle bag 6 papers/magazines into recycle bag 2 bags of trash to outside can 1 bag of recyclable bottles/cans/jars to outside can 254 - 12 242 to go! Good job on the trash and the can of Lysol, Gracie. And I must say WOW - 1,000 paycheck stubs - a lifetime of working, a history. Congratulations on that Saffron.
I got rid of my old, much and long loved flannel comforter - and I do mean long loved. I will miss it greatly - but the batting is coming out and boo hoo. I also donated an old crockpot to the goodwill - it wasn't until I was leaving that I realized I should not have bought a book when I was at good will - but I am still gonna count my crockpot as one item. So that is 2 items + 11 items = 13 items.

760 last total I am claiming at LEAST 760 items for today, because both DSons and I, plus several helpers purged almost all the rest of DAuntie's stash from my garage. I am going to start on Round #2= 2012 to go! |
