Cando, Enjoy your walk!
I sent my DD and email with some of the info she needs for the financial aid form.
There is a camp affiliated with the college DD attends. If she goes, she can earn 8 credits during mid May to late June, then she will work at the camp for the remainder of the summer. This is something she wants to do. She applied, and she is being interviewed today. She will be paid as a counselor, but the cost of tuition is WAY more than she will be paid, so they do offer financial aid.
I rolled a 5, which brings me back to (12) MORE LAUNDRY!!! Do you believe it?

I folded more laundry, and it still is not all done... although, I really do need to weed out things, because one of my problems is I don't have places to keep all of these things. There are some things on my list that have not been touched yet, some I see as priorities, So I'm going to take a break from rolling the die, and maybe go back to WIT.

Hi Ally. I guess I'll move to WIT, too. Since I have more "have tos". Yep, that is something that you keep rolling to do Laundry. Glad you're getting it done, though. It is hot out there. 85 degrees. Walked Puppy & then Walked DAngelDog. My face was so red & pouring sweat when I was done. I'm in bad shape... I may come back later. CD

Ally, that is interesting that you kept rolling laundry. But you got a lot done!
Cando, I wish I could send you some of our breeze. It is so nice outside that I took the dogs for long walks and then dug some in my itty bitty garden spot.
Going to see what's left on my list, since I got on a roll and wasn't using the dice.

OK, I'm going to play for a while today. I'm waiting on news from my dad--he may have to go to the hospital, and my nerves are on edge. I'm going to try to stay busy, while I wait to hear something. Here's my list. I know there are 13 things on it. I'm just going to leave it in honor of Friday the 13th. 1. write check for insurance 2. remove five papers from coffee table 3. empty dryer 4. update calendar 5. sort through pile of books and papers in dining room, just to see what's there 6. dump garden soil into area where I removed rocks and clay 7. remove pile of rocks and clay 8. plant flowers in garden 9. do some homework for counseling 10. begin sorting through one bag of papers from bedroom 11. clear off living room chairs 12. wash another load of laundry 13. pick up some trash from bedroom First roll--2 remove five papers from coffee table. Here I go!

OK, first roll--removed five papers from coffee table. Also ended up clearing off the living room chairs, emptying the dryer, putting away clean dishes in the dish drainer, and emptying the dishwasher. Not bad for one roll!
Second roll--7 remove pile of rocks and clay from garden area. Hmm, wonder if I can do that without getting dirty. I need to stay clean in case I have to go down to the hospital. I'll give it a try.

Well, I half-filled up three bags with rocks and clay from my little garden spot. Most of the rest is dirt, and I think that it will be ok to put it back in, mixed with the garden soil I got the other day. I was going to get rid of it but would probably need a wheelbarrow or some way to get it in the bags and to the dumpster. Third roll--9 work on homework for counseling. Off I go again!

Back. Did some reading for counseling, did another load of laundry, and walked the dogs. Now I'm going to rest a little bit before rolling again.

Seashell, you did great the other day! Sorry that I didn't make it back that day... How is your Dad doing? I started playing on my own... only did one roll and now for my next one. Thought I'd join the thread here. So, I just rolled a "12" which was to do some laundry. I did that. Put a load in the washer & folded/hung a load of laundry. Put that load away, too. My list is on paper, but I think that I'll go ahead and post it. I rolled a "9" next... which is to clean the big soup pot. Here's my list for now: (Oh, I'm playing Game Board method) 2 - plan meals 3 - shred papers for 15 minutes 4 - kitchen counters for 15 minutes 5 - dishes 6 - kitchen cabinet for 15 minutes 7 - dining room table for 15 minutes 8 - interest/student loan pmt paperwork - 15 minutes 9 - wash big soup pot 10 - exercise 11 - laundry 12 - go thru a purse for 15 minutes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Washed out the big soup pot. Next roll "10" brings me to "interest/student loan pmt paperwork - 15 min. Poof! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ spent 15 minutes on DS's student loans. I did not get a whole lot done, but did learn something simple. Like where to go on-line now for more info about his loans. It has been so confusing. I called him & he hasn't done that yet, either. He asked me to call him back about it all on Wednesday, though, as it wasn't a good time for him. So, I will put this on hold. In the meantime, I did see how scattered I am with his stuff. I have DD's better organized and still not through organizing hers. So, my work is cut out for me. Arghh! I still feel more calm just knowing where to go for more info, though....
Next roll: "6" = Shred for 15 minutes. (Well, part of this is going thru a box...) Poof! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ spent 15 minutes going thru box of papers & shredding. *shredded 66 papers/receipts from 1999 *put 19 receipts from 1999 in recycle bag *put empty bag in trash *put empty grocery bag in laundry area to be recycled
Next roll: "3" = 15 minutes on kitchen cabinet... this is one that has containers that were spilling out onto the floor until I bagged up the lids in 2 separate grocery bags. Now, we just have to contend with the bags when we get something out of that cabinet. Here goes!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Done! Except the 15 minutes turned into 40 minutes. You should see that cabinet now! I tossed a ton! Further details are in the tossing aggressively thread by MorningGlory.
I'm done for today!
Hope some others join in today. I'm playing Board Game method, but remember... if you don't like lists...just write on little pieces of paper and draw from a hat or bag. Here's my list: 2-student loan stuff 15 min. 3-shred papers for 15 min. 4-laundry 5-15 min. kitchen counter 6-dishes 7-dining room table 15 min. 8-plan meals 9-exercise 10-purse 15 min. 11-floss teeth 12-make groc. list 1st roll: "10" - 15 min. going thru old purse Poof! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spent 15 minutes cleaning out an old purse *It was one I'd already been working on. Finally finished it! So, will let DH double check to make sure that my ring is not in there. But, otherwise ready to toss. *$8.88 in change. Put 4 quarters in my current purse & the rest in a donation can. *1 paper & 3 tampons tossed
Next roll: 15 minutes shredding ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ spent 15 minutes going thru box of papers & shredding. *65 1999 receipts/papers into recycle bag *10 shredded
Next roll: "3" - dishes Poof! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard unloaded dishwasher washed 2 sinkfuls of dishes
Next roll: "3", again = exercise This will take a long time. Poof!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Walked 40 minutes. Back exercises & push-ups. Done!

Cando! You've been getting LOTS done! I like your use of color. I use a different "skin" than the standard, and it makes all the black text dark pink... and everything is pastel shades... It really changes the appearance so I don't usually add color. Hopefully I'll be playing here tomorrow. See ya.

Back. removed trash from car, dusted dashboard, put doggy seat covers in trunk, FeBrezed the seats, rolled windows down to air out. Also put an apple on to cook, with a little butter, sugar, and cinnamon. It's done now, so I will do one more roll while it cools.
Second roll--12 start laundry. Will get laundry sorted and going, then eat my apple, then get back to it. Back. Laundry is sorted, first load is in, and I ate my very yummy apple, along with a couple of granola bars, which I shared with the pups.
Third roll--7 water plants. Oops, I already did that. Try again!
Third roll--10 do some homework for counseling. Ok, off to work on that. Back from working on homework. I'm going to take a break and make a phone call, then walk the dogs.

Bumping up the dice game! First I have to go and finish cleaning the bathrooms and switching laundry; about 20 minutes of work. 1. go to drugstore for birthday cards and wrap for DS 2. clean out fridge--just 3 minutes with a trash bag and a sponge 3. dust one room 4. iron clothes to wear to work all next week 5. walk 6. sort and pitch papers and whatnot : pink tray in kitchen, magazine basket in bedroom Bathrooms are done. I rolled a 1. Go to drugstore. Back in half an hour or so Done. Well that was actually fun. It is Fiesta week (an annual festival here) and everyone was chipper and brightly dressed, buying ice and goodies. Next roll: 6. Sort through the paper basket in my bedroom and the mail tray in kitchen (mail is a generous cover term for every bit of junk anyone leaves on the kitchen island)
