Hi and Good Morning all Woke up this morning and I had lost my happy spot. (I really have been in happy mode the last couple of weeks) Hope I find it along the way today. Thanks for all the wonderful words celebrating the lose of my 4 pounds. Saffron I have been eating a more (fresh) plant based diet the last 2 weeks. Strawberry season is in full bloom here and daily fresh strawberries have been a wonderful snack throughout the day. The most helpful change that I have made is that I am eating breakfast and lunch daily and have been doing so for the last 2 weeks. It had been hit or miss depending on the day and what I had to do, how late I woke up ect.. Trying to learn that I have to take care of myself because know one else will. Welcome back upintheair and di dreaming hope to see you here again today. ' Diane great job on your 8's. Cando sorry car rental was such a bear. Saffron -- Awesome list yesterday Ok off to find my happy spot.

Saffron, Great job working toward your goal!!! That is so awesome! Also, on flossing and cleaning out your purse. Those especially hit home with me. I'm happy you have toilet and swamp cooler fixed. Me too, on getting strength and motivation knowing that friends here are working along with me!!! Thank you, Saffron, for this wonderful thread! CD

RR -- Yep, I think I finally got a handle on the returns. I've been returning things much sooner after their purchased these days. I've been doing well with this now for almost a year. I still have to consciously think about it and make myself do it, rather than just have it as automatic as in "Of course, return things right away...". I've always known to do it, but just didn't...............
Water:
thyroid med med to Puppy fed dogs set the 4 bags of giveaways outside for pick-up (they were picked up -- made menus for Tonight thru Tuesday night. & made grocery list.
took calcium made my bed researched hotels arranged hotel put load of laundry in washer
put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard moved load of laundry to dryer put another load in washer cleaned sink counter & moulding next to drainboard -- Found that Lysol wipes work so much better than Windex with either paper towels or rags. cleaned wall above stove
Cleaned sink counter that has my bread, water, rice cooker, blender, flour and sugar on it. (it's been in maintenance, so no clutter on it). decluttered the cabinets that had papers attached or hanging inside them or outside them. 5 papers into recycle bag & 1 is to be shred. No longer need these. A couple of them are at least 15 years old! (I had already gotten rid of other papers, so this was what was left). cleaned sink counter that has crockpot on it. No clutter on it, except tossed 1 tube of lotion that I've had for years and rarely, if ever, use. Kept thinking that I might need it, but convinced myself that I would buy a new one, if so. I just hope that I don't forget what type it was as it worked pretty well. No other things on that counter. cleaned window sill (it is kinda deep). No clutter on this, but did manage to put 3 little things that I was keeping out for when DD comes home. Realized that she may not be here for a while, so found a cabinet that I could put these little bowls in. Has to do with her keeping Kosher. I had 3 separate bowls each one with a label "Dairy", "meat", or "Parve". Inside each bowl was a small sponge for cleaning dishes. I tossed the sponges as I can get new ones. cleaned breakfast bar. I had decluttered it last week. It has been in maintenance, so wasn't much on it last week... and nothing else other than 1 dog food bowl, bowl of fruit, kleenex, stack of coupons under the kleenex, and a bank.
I am totally done with my kitchen counter project, now. That certainly does NOT mean that there isn't more to do in there... just that is all will be done in there for a while.
put Frontline on DAngelDog updated my calendar re: dog meds & Puppy's next appt & Percorten injection took bp med went thru the last 5 days of incoming papers/mail *43 papers into recycle bag *3 into trash showered2shoes
picked up DH's clothes from cleaners went to Wal-Mart for groceries researched furniture on Craigslist tossed 3 racquetball gloves (at least 15 years old!!! )

Hello Saffron, Cando, Roadrunner and Andrea, I will work in here for a while this afternoon. Today is cool and cloudy, and I feel so much better. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through this summer if the heat is already making me sick, and it was only in the 80s for two days. I'm going to have to figure out a way to pay for a little more air conditioning this year. Andrea, I saw your post yesterday about seeing the doctor for your head, I'm glad you had it checked out. I hope it heals quickly. 8 minutes books 8 minutes decluttering in LR and entryway Wrote bills due on calendar Recorded income and receipts for last 3 days 8 minutes books Packaged recycling to take out later Removed some emails Fed cats a snack 8 minutes books Cleaned toilet Cleaned bathroom sink Washed sand in yard Measured grate in yard Returned email to client Answered phone call from client Collected laundry to start later tonight I'm now going to stop and get ready for my last dog walk of the day, I'll probably be back later! Diane

hi Diane! I'm trying to stick mostly with this thread, today. So, we can support each other here, if you wanna. I am already having trouble with the heat, here, too. And, I have good air conditioning! Just will spend a fortune if I keep it turned down so low... Outside, was almost not doable yesterday... in the 90s. CD
