Hi Cando! The first few really hot days of the summer always have me thinking I'll never live through it! I guess our bodies get a little bit acclimated to it as the summer goes on, but I always have days when the heat really does make me sick. I could never, never live where you do! Three to five months of heat is quite enough! Good work on the meal planning--I've been trying to eat up leftovers and canned stuff and have been doing pretty well, but today will steam veggies and open a can of beans to mix up with pasta. I've had a taste for pasta salad so the next warmer day I'll make some of that. Diane

Hi y'all! You can really see progress that Saffron, RR, and Diane have made! Y'all put it in high gear & just charged right on through!!! Wonderful! Andrea -- I see you've been helping a friend. So sweet. How is your head, now, from the branch? UpintheAir -- Looks like you're busy with paperwork... good job! RR -- Your home-made brownies smell mighty yummy. Would love some of those... (like I need them... ) I got on a little roll and just couldn't stop. My kitchen counters are done. They still look cluttered, but it is all stuff we need and use. Just don't have anywhere else to put these things and would be inconvenient. Some of it will be moved, if I have advance notice that someone is coming over. It is still good enough if someone were to walk in as far as the counters go. CD

Hung up clothes from dryer Dealt with yesterday's mail Dealt with today's mail Scooped litter pans That's it for me, good night all! Diane

Ah 63 pots are a drop in the bucket, DH has 600 to pressure wash and dip. Pressure wash to remove last years grass they he dips them to keep them from rusting and breaking down in the water. He has already pressure washed about 150 + my 69 so we have about 381 left. Offered to help because he was going to pay someone one to come and do it. DH never pays anyone to do anything so I know he really needed the help. Not sure my 69 is much help but anyway. It feels good to know that I am physically able to help. Of course I am sure that my feet, back and hands will hurt tomorrow. Will have to put a can of oil beside the bed tonight so that DH can oil me in the am like the tinman. -<:-( Glad the Excedrin is helping Cando.

Good evening everyone, I'm glad to see so many people working on a Saturday, sometimes it seems on the weekends that people don't post as much--either too busy to post, or relaxing after a hectic work week!
I had a somewhat stressful day today but I think if I can get a chunk of work done yet tonight I'll be happy. I'm way behind on my cleaning list chores and other stuff as well. The cool weather continues so that helps me.

Yesterday helping with the Eagle Project was absolutely great. We spent over 7 hours working on documenting old gravestones by taking pics and writing the inscriptions on paper. It was lots of hard work but since these gravestones are from the Revolutionary war it was much needed. After we finished working we were able to transfer my money so I could use it and then went out for a while. It was an extremely busy day and now younger son is feeling sick and complaining of his stomach hurting. This morning I will work around the house and then go to candy sales and to drop off somethings with best friend. took shower and got dressed did some organizing in my room gave younger son a bath made breakfast fed boys breakfast gave boys their meds took my meds switched laundry started new load folded clean clothes found some totes for friend cleaned out totes worked at candy sales for 2 hours took friend out went grocery shopping had dinner went to church dropped friend back home came back home took groceries out of car brought clothes in put away groceries
