Protein shake consumed (using up the last packets, ashtrays emptied, pets fed and one cage rearranged as they seemed to be struggling to get up and down and there hadn't been room for a ramp. Bless 'em they're starting to show their age.
Next three:
Medication and wound care for one pet (she lost her leg last week)

Thanks roadrunner. =)
Bin emptied so I can start a new bag.
Laundry started
Pet medicated... Sort of. It's getting harder and harder to do and I'm taking that as a good sign that she's rather run riot than take meds in any fashion. I tried in food, in juice, and ended up with her spitting most of it out when I syringed it. She was meant to finish 2 days ago, but the vet gave enough for 7 days so it was my choice to continue as my pet is still a but under weight and periodically reopening the wound. Just me being over cautious. It's been a traumatic week for both of us.
Next tasks:
Dishes. My cupboards are empty and that's zombie soup in my garden so.... It's going to take some time. If I don't return, the zombies got me.

Thank you, lioness. =)
So far so good. As I said in another thread, I'm waging battle not against my house or my mess, but against the saboteur inside of me that complains and cries because of loneliness, but won't let anyone inside the door. It doesn't make sense and I deserve better. I've basically bought myself into a sizeable debt trying to fix things without doing any work. And that will never work, so I'm determined to drag myself out of despair and hopefully a bit of debt as well by focusing my energy on cleaning and decluttering for a couple of weeks rather than spending money on cigarettes and stuff that won't actually accomplish anything but create more debt. I'm nearly out of washing up liquid, but I think that's a permissible expenditure.
Just had a break while the dishes air dried a bit. Back to it. Back in a couple of hours probably.
Clutterbuggles! Great to hear you are stopping smoking! Also, that you have invited a friend over!
RR -- I'm right with ya on the water. Glad the decision quote is helping you!
Woke up with headache. Took 2 Excedrin. I know that I didn't get enough sleep nor did I sleep well. I think sinus was blocked on one side... plus stayed up too late & woke up too early.

I was determined to get rid of it today or tomorrow if I have to drive somewhere to dump it. So, I already had standing permission from one of my neighbors that I could use their cans & another drove up while I was out there, so he let me used what space was left in his, too. I ended up putting a bunch in mine too, since both of the neighbors only had a little space left & I was determined! Good morning all! Clutter, you have been busy and your list of accomplishments impresses me. Quiting smoking is one of the very best things you can do for yourself. And having a friend over is a HUGE MILESTONE!!
Good morning dear Lioness, you always make me smile.
Cando you are accomplishing great things. It's such motivation.
I woke up this morning to a bit of chaos. For the whole story look at byways... But I'm thankful that Kiddo made me smile. The Rallying Cry for the day is "DO IT FOR THE SAUSAGE!!"
Last night I slept in the clothes I was wearing so the first thing on my "need to do list" is getting a shower and getting dressed. So far:
Got up,
Got Kiddo up, dressed, fed
Made her lunch and discovered garage disaster
Barely got kiddo to school on time
Got Garage fridge running with an extention cord.
Transferred all food in freezer to the freezer compartment of the fridges
Took out bag of freezer burned old food (freezer needed to be cleaned out, but I wish it hadn't required an electricians visit to motivate me..
took meds
made and consumed protein/fruit shake.
Sat down and got on the computer to relax for a while

Andrea, glad you went to Physical Therapy!
UpInTheAir, Saffron, CanDo, SleepyMom, OnTheWay, Diane, and anyone else ...
I'm claiming "scrollback amnesty" (as seashell would say). Not going to read back to see what you all did.
These past couple months have been challenging for me ... I don't want to write about it ... but ... I think that things are beginning to look up! I'm beginning to see the Light!

That's encouraging news, Lioness. =)
I crashed and burned and needed a nap mid dish washing. Part of it was actual physical tiredness, but a big part of it was nicotine withdrawal. I spent half an hour trying to beat a stress fueled craving and was getting closer and closer to smoking, so I had a nap instead.
I'm up now, cooked dinner and washed up as I went. I'm actually going to treat myself to dessert today because I've worked my bum off today. Even the laundry made it into the dryer.
So I'm not done yet, but slowing down a bit before bed.
Well done to everyone else and their productive days!
