I got really distracted on that one. I did empty my bag, but then I came back on here to update and saw Skatters' post on her adopted greyhound and had to read that! Then I got a long phone call from a client about my dog care job starting on Thursday.
I have time for 1 more roll before getting ready for my next dog walk: 4, vacuum kitchen/pantry. perfect, that completes that part of my cleaning items for today.

Hey, Diane! Thank YOU for joining me here! I also got very distracted by a marathon phone call with DD. It is so nice to hear her happy and so excited! She finished up with particulars regarding her first apartment. She and her roommate both signed the lease. She got her key and actually saw the apartment for the first time. She rented it sight unseen. She said it is great! (She had stayed in a friend's apartment there, but had not seen this part of the building ). Her roommate has not seen it yet. They are both so very busy! She had other exciting news to tell me and it was just so great speaking with her! Here's what I did and I, too, have to break from Dice Game. I hope to be back here, later, but have some have-tos for now. I cleaned the sink counter around the microwave. After I did that I did a couple have tos. I vacuumed up the hair in the washing machine. Then, looked on-line to see how to empty hand-held vac. Emptied the vac. Then, cleaned the inside and outside of the microwave. This was on my list to do, but went ahead and did that also while I was on that long phone call. Also, cleaned top of stove. CD

Cando, thanks for starting the dice game. I didn't realize we had changed months. For some reason, I was thinking there was one more day in April. "Thirty days hath September . . ." OK, it's May.
I'm glad your DD is so excited about her apartment. That's fun. About the necklace and the piece that may be from the Temple wall, I'd leave that up to your DH, since they were given to him. If he decides to keep them, make him put them in his drawer or some other spot that belongs to him. If the piece is from the wall and wasn't supposed to be taken, it would be nice to send it back to Israel, but that's probably too much trouble. So I say give them to your DH and let him decide, and get them out of your way.
Oh, Diane, thanks for mentioning Skatters post on her new greyhound. I'll go see if I can find it.
My apt. manager loves my little non-hyper dog so much that she is coming over every day to check on her. Yesterday, she brought a basket full of toys and treats for both dogs. That was so sweet. And she said that, if I end up needing to give her fluid treatments, she will help, as she has had lots of experience with her cats. I wasn't sure that I could go through that again, after going through it with my beloved previous dog, but with her help, maybe I could.
Anyway, I need to do some cleaning each day to try to make the LR and DR more presentable for her to come over. She hasn't said anything about the mess, but I still want to make a little progress each day, so that she can see that I am working on it.
OK, next post will be a list to work on. I was going to do gardening all day today, but it is so hot outside already, that I may have to wait until evening.

I'm losing motivation very quickly--got to get moving!
1. clear off right side of desk 2. clear off left side of desk 3. stack books scattered on coffee table 4. remove doggy food bowl from floor near non-hyper dog's sleeping place 5. pull coupons scattered on coffee table and put them with the organized ones 6. clear off one cushion on sofa
OK, first roll--2 clear off left side of desk. Here I go!
Left side of desk is cleared off--all that's left is the massive amout of cords for my "wireless" internet and my telephone. Also FeBrezed LR and DR floors--at least, what could be reached.
Second roll--5 pull coupons scattered on coffee table and put them with the organized ones. Bleh. This will take a little longer.
Boy, that's a messy coffee table! Coupons are organized, sort of.
Third roll--6 clear off one sofa cushion. That won't be too hard. brb
OK, that was quick. Though I put several things on the right side of the desk, which I'm afraid will be coming up soon.
Fourth roll--3 stack books scattered on coffee table. Off I go again!
Books are stacked, and some papers that need to be filed are now on top of the file cabinet, until I get the cabinet ready to store files. I already picked up the doggy bowl, so all that's left is to clear off the right side of the desk--no small task, since I use nearly everything on it. Maybe I can just neaten it up some.

Good Day! I haven't played the Dice game in a MONTH, and want to use it to get back on track. I've been backsliding lately due to an overly filled schedule... and being tired from "running" all of the time (I don't mean running in the literal sense, although I've been doing that once in a while too.)
Some things that need to be done today
Fold laundry *Empty dishwasher
Go for a jog Clean the cat box *Clean out the chicken coop. Clean out my dad's car, I'm returning it to him tomorrow. Clean off the top of the stove Water house plants
Clean aquarium hood
Flea/tick treatment on cat Sort through papers *Drill hole in shower wall so I can return hole-saw to my dad tomorrow
I will work in each area for approximately 10 minutes. After completing 3 areas I will take a break. Tasks marked with an * will be put off until this afternoon.
My first roll is a 2, but since the dishwasher is not done running I will move ahead to 3 and go for a jog. I haven't gone for a jog in at least a week!
Update: I went for a jog/walk, with more walking than jogging... Next roll 4, which takes me to 7: Clean off stove top! Yikes, it's pile high with stuff that I'm not sure where to go with. I need to start tossing, boxing up... Here I go... Poof!

Update: I worked for several minutes clearing stuff from stovetop. Moved some pans from one cabinet to another.. Then cooked some lunch.
Next roll is a 2 which brings me to cleaning the aquarium hood, at least the part the light is in. The light isn't working, and I think I might take it to NJ and see if my dad can figure out what's wrong with it.
Took the aquarium hood outside and sprayed off really well with water. It looks nice when it's wet... when it dries... that's another story.
Next roll: 1, flea/tick treatment to cat. Last time I did this he wasn't very cooperative.
Update: Wrapped the cat in a towel, and he started purring. Held him on my lap for a while, and he seemed quite content. Applied the Frontline Plus. He didn't even seem to notice. I took him outside, and in the bright light I saw a little dark speck on one ear. Turns out it was a deer tick larva. A minute later I saw another deer tick larva crawling through his fur. I hadn't seen any ticks on him this season yet, so I thought we were good... Wow, I should have applied the stuff last week. I've seen tiny ticks before, but these were the smallest by far.
Next roll: Empty the dishwasher, which I will do right now! Poof!
After I emptied the dishwasher, my DD got talking to me, and we discussed many things. I got a little side-tracked, but I still completed several tasks. I think I'll quit the game for now...

I'll play the dice game for an hour or 2 today, then I'll leave for NJ.
Feed/water chickens Pack up some store returns *Help DD pack up some stuff for her summer excursion, reviewing what we still need to purchase.
Look up address for store in NJ
Shower/Dress Bring in stuff from car (Have made 2 4 trips, probably 2 1 more to go.) Fold some laundry Get lab coat ready for work/ Put ID badge in my purse Water house plants
* After DD gets up
First I'm going to take some dirty dishes to the kitchen and eat breakfast. Done! BONUS: Loaded up and started DW.

I just realized time is getting away for me, so I might have to just stick with the essentials first. 1st roll is a 4... look up address. Yes this is a high priority! Poof! Done! 2nd roll is a 6, which takes me back to #1, feed chickens. Poof! Done, also brought in several items form car, (2 trips!)!!! 3rd roll is a 3, which takes me to 4 on my list, Shower! Poof
My shower is done, I am dressed. I made 2 more trips in with stuff from the car. Now time to focus on getting out of here... I'm done for the dice game today. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow?

OK, I'm going to play for a little while. I'll probably be going over to my parents' in a couple of hours, so need to get things done now. I've been gone so much, things have pretty much fallen by the wayside, though I did get the dishes done last night--along with cuts to two fingers from a glass I didn't know was broken. I'm going to do a short list, and see how it goes. 1. bathe and dress to shoes 2. start load of laundry 3. hang up some clean clothes 4. put bedding away 5. read a little for counseling session 6. make phone call to dr. re: lifeline screening OK, first roll--6 make phone call to dr. re: lifeline screening. brb
