Oh good, I like separate posts!
I rolled 4 for the hallway, I put 3 things away and swept it, which finished the room so I crossed it off.
Then I had to stop and feed the cats because they were hungry.
Next I rolled 6 for the entry--put 3 things away, 2 in recycle and 1 in the garbage
Then I rolled 12 for the bathroom--7 items away, 3 in recycle, 1 in garbage and I wiped the sink. That finished that small room also.
Next roll: 9.

The 9 was the Bedroom--7 things put away, 1 recycled, and I swept about half the floor.
Rolled 3 for the DR, 3 things in garbage.
8 for the kitchen: 4 put away, 2 in garbage and I found a better place to hang 2 clothing items to dry.
11 for the pantry: 7 things put away, 1 in garbage, swept, and straightened up the 2 out of 3 food bins that needed it.
Next roll: 8

Whew! Done with caregiver stuff. Didn't have to make out checks cause I balanced my check book & not enough in that account to pay them. My DMom will have to make the next 2 checks. Next roll: "2" which brings me to #5 L ook over parent’s property taxes (homestead?, and hold or lower for the next year? Aarrgghh! This is NOT one that I wanna do... it's going to take some time, too. Will have to see if tthey qualify for hold or lower taxes. Also, be sure they are set up as "homestead". If they qualify, will need to go to appraisal district website and compare tax rolls with neighboring homes. (and that's where I'll also find out if they are set up as "homestead". It may not be good idea to freeze their taxes if they are being charged too high an amount... complicated & really don't like this type of work...
dtesposito -- You're doing great & probably about done with your list.... So fantastic!!!

Cando, that tax research sounds awful--do your parents have an attorney? I know they're expensive but sometimes they know things quickly and can save money in the end by giving the best advice. I am done with my list one time through, but I'm starting a second time, because I have 2 hours left til my afternoon walk and I know if I don't keep going I'll probably end up reading on the couch until it's time to go! The 8 was for the computer desk, which was pretty clean, so I dug out 8 difficult papers from my paper tray and took care of them--bonus, they count for the Lent paper challenge!
Rolled 4 for main desk, 3 recycled, 1 thrown away.
Rolled 8 for kitchen, 6 thrown away, 2 recycled.
Rolled 9 for 2nd BR, 2 items thrown away, 1 recycled, 4 shredded, emptied the shredder, and took apart an old photo I want to keep but don't want the frame.
Next roll: 5

5 was the entryway, opened a box, 1 item put away, 1 recycled 6 for the BR, 1 recycled, 5 put away 6 for the DR, 6 items put away 4 for the kitchen, 1 put away, 1 thrown away, dishpan emptied in bathroom, dishpan cleaned 3 for the computer desk, 3 difficult pieces of paper handled 2 for the main desk, 2 items put away
And that finishes my 2nd time through the list.
Definitely got more done than I would have without playing, so thanks cando!

Thank you, dtesposito . I'm sorry that last roll took me forever! I just now finished my research regarding my parent's property taxes! Whew! Glad I'm done with it for now. I wrote down a few questions and will have to make a phone call tomorrow to their appraisal district. 2 things they do NOT qualify for, but there is one things that they might. It's complicated, though. Next roll: "9" which brings me to "9" Dishes step. I will wash a sinkful. CD
