As far as purses, I don't know how many... but they are in bags in a stack against my wall in my bedroom. They are not half full, but more than likely full. I use them for a long time and then when I need a new purse due to the old one breaking, tearing, or need of another color... I just get out what I mainly need... credit cards, some money, check book, insurance card, etc. And, I just leave it uncleaned out... used to be on my floor and on my dresser, but a long time ago... I gathered then and at least put them in a couple big bags in a quick pick up with lots of other stuff... So, I am getting them out one at a time. Camper, Diane, Cando, Andrea good evening, lovely to see so many people on this thread! I hope I'll coincide with a few more people next time I play the dice game; it's such a good idea Sorry you're having such a time with the heat Cando and Diane; I think we had summer here a few weeks ago (mini heatwave at the end of March) but they say the thermometer might just hit the mid-70s this week..... I'll believe it when I feel it! I vanquished the dreaded fridge and cleaned the inside thoroughly; the only sign of its previous squalorous state is the slight impression of what I think was once tarragon sticking stubbornly to the back of the fridge. It looks rather like a long alien hand (perhaps it is - not tarragon after all!) and I can't quite seem to get rid of it. Never mind, apart from that it's clean - and so lovely to open it without holding my breath and trying not to look Cando, I could have written exactly what you posted, only coming from this side of the Atlantic I'd have used the word handbag rather than purse and must admit mine aren't yet corralled into one place for sorting. I don't know how many are lurking around the house. I also have several out of control knitting bags which, because I carry them every day, became overspill from the handbags and now need just as much sorting. That's a job that got much more difficult after the card fraudsters started going through bins for receipts shredding's such a pain! Oh well it's time for bed here but Happy Dice Rolling to all of you for whom it's still afternoon or early evening

Whoo... I'm so behind on laundry. Okay, I gathered up all the dirty socks and tossed them. I just bought new ones today. Also, started a pile to donate to the help center. Stacked up the dirty clothes in the corner, folded a load of towels, and started a new load of clothes. That might be it for tonight. Hope you all have a good night / day.

Well, my internet went out at 5:00 and only just came back. I'm SO annoyed about this stupid internet.... I did another pan of dishes and then got a call from my sister, which threw me off track a little.
I would like to do a few more dice rolls though, I don't want to give up for the night yet.
Cando, I hope you had a good lunch (dinner?)
catsmother, I love what you said about your fridge:
so lovely to open it without holding my breath and trying not to look
I know that feeling so well!
merrymaid, you're working on the same things I am, laundry, and the ever present BOOKS! Aren't they hard to get rid of?
Next roll: 5 Declutter floors
I will try to be here for the next hour or so, but if I disappear, blame Comcast Cable!!!

My first roll was a 1 which was working on the decoration area in attic. That took me a lot longer than I expected and I got very hot so stopped for tonight.

MerryMaid! Great job on laundry & those books!!! Diane -- Sorry to hear about the internet problems. My DMom recently moved to Comcast & has not been very happy with it. Other than it is saving her some money, their cable has been out several times & takes forever to get back on. Update on "bills". *Went thru Office in a Bag looking to see if I had bills I need to pay. Not really... glad I paid them before I left town. I will need to pay a couple tomorrow, but not as pressured about them... so will let them wait. I did make a phone card re: a credit card & got the interest lowered and converting to a cash back program. Also, got DH to review taxes cause I thought we owed an estimated payment... he had said "no" when I wanted to make the payment last month. Well, he's not sure now, so just wants me to go ahead and make the payment after all. Argghh! He is the one who sat with the accountant & I tried to watch and follow but it was like... 3's a crowd as I couldn't see and seemed like they were just trying to talk with each other & didn't like me interrupting... It was aggravating, then. Also, got him to speak with him about another financial paper that I had been holding to show him & review with him. And, also re: property insurance, too. We also discussed another insurance and he decided that he does want me to take this insurance out. I wasn't sure about it and had held onto this paper until we got a chance to discuss it. So, Yay!!! Lots accomplished!!! These were papers taking up space in my Office in a Bag. *4 papers into recycle bag *3 papers to be filed *Also, boiled some more pasta. Now, it is time for me to work on an old purse for 15 minutes. Poof! CD

Andrea! I think we posted at the same time. Hopefully I can be here at least part of the day. I don't know due to some have-tos... I had forgotten about this purse that I happened to grab next from a bag of purses. I really like it and it is in excellent condition so will be reusing it once I have it cleaned out. Spent 15 minutes on it, but there is more to go. *52 cents put in change bank to be donated *4 old business cards of mine put in Memories box *2 papers "to be shred" *Tossed: some expired Claritin, vial of eye drops, gum wrapprs & some other thing? *2006 receipts put in Tax Box *2007 receipts put in Tax Box *48 papers into recycle bag Next roll: "6" -- which brings me to read about DD's newest doctor. Well, I'm not going to be able to do this one right now, as I have to cook, again. A very late dinner. Poof! CD

Andrea, I sure wouldn't have been able to work in an attic here today, it was 91 degrees here. Sounds like you at least got something done up there. Maybe you should work there early morning or late at night when it's cooler?
Cando, looks like you got some very annoying hanger-on items done, that's satisfying! I look forward to seeing what's unearthed in your current purse project! (Are you getting rid of the purses when they are emptied out?)
I actually didn't do floors during the last roll, I walked into the kitchen and realized that I have lots of dishes left to do and hadn't drawn that number, so I did a pan of dishes instead! Then I watched the weather report since the sky got all weird and green but it didn't rain. It's dropped about 10 degrees, but 80 is still too hot for 9pm! Looking forward to that cold front.
Next roll: 11, books

Wrote out some greeting cards.
I am now going to do some end of evening stuff, I'm going to feed and medicate the cats, scoop litter pans, and feed the birds.
