Hi Ally, missed you again this morning! I'm going to play for at least 2 hours, until 7pm Central Time.
If I disappear before then, it means my internet went out again!!!
Back in a minute with a list.

Back in a minute with a list. Diane Diane, I've read so many threads today that I can't keep them straight any more, but there are a couple of newbies that have posted in WIT today that might be interested in joining you too. One is scribbliz (liz), and the other boyswillbeboys, or something along those lines. I apologize if I got their names wrong. I'll be working tomorrow. I might do a couple more rolls this evening. I went out and ran errands with DH, then a storm blew through, and I stopped playing for a while. I'll have to reassess my to-do list.

Hi Ally, yes, I saw some new folks post in a thread in the General forum where dice game was mentioned--hopefully they will join in! Here's my somewhat scattered list: 2 Soak/wash cat food dishes 3 Soak/wash cat food dishes 4 Ten minutes on books 5 Ten minutes on books 6 Declutter entryway and hallway 7 Ten minute declutter of computer desk/cat table 8 Declutter kitchen 9 Declutter DR 10 Put linens back on couch (I hate this job!) 11 Pay 2 bills online & balance checkbook 12 Ten minutes cleaning out top shelf of fridge Okay, my first roll is 6, declutter entryway and hall. Won't take long, these were done yesterday but I moved some stuff into them this morning. I'm not playing the game board way, just straight dice roll. Diane

Hi, Diane and Ally, I'll play a set of six, then will see whether to continue. Today has been another day of being extremely tired--wish I knew why, besides insomnia.
1. Remove impatiens from front door 2. Pot up white vinca 3. go through mail 4. straighten up desk area 5. Feed dogs 6. Straighten up end table
First roll: 6--straighten up end table--worked on end table
Second roll: 3--go through mail--went through mail, paid bills
Third roll: 4--straighten up desk area, ok, ok, I'll work on it. straightened up desk area
Fourth roll: 2--pot up white vinca. To do this, I have to remove the impatiens (#1), because they are going in the same pot.
Note: I did feed the dogs earlier.
7:30, I just ordered a sandwich for supper, so I will do the potting up, if it doesn't get dark too soon.
Removed impatiens from front door area. Will have to save potting the vinca for tomorrow, since it is dark, and a storm is brewing.

Okay, linens are back on the couch. I have to figure out something else to do for this couch, it's one of the "sticking points" that I avoid and avoid. I have a loveseat instead of a full size couch, and it's probably 15 or 20 years old--and that length of time in a multiple cat household means that there have been many incidents of cat vomit. Even though I've tried various upholstery spray cleaners, which DO remove the smell, they only fade the stain. So, I have to keep the couch covered, I use a flat sheet, which, no matter what size I use, doesn't fit right. Either it's too big and there's a huge piece left over at the end, or it's too short. I use a smaller one now, which means I have to also use a pair of pillow cases to cover the part of the arms that the sheet doesn't quite fit. When I sit on the couch, that pulls the covers out of place, so it always looks funny unless I rearrange it each time I stand up. The sheets get cat hair on them one day after washing, so if I want to get the hair off I either use the pet hair attachment on my vacuum (which works pretty well) or else I have to wipe the hair off with some kind of brush or my hand. And when I do that, it pulls the covers out of place again. I guess if I was a cleanie, this would be a fine use of my time--but for a housework challenged person, this is way too much constant work. Years ago I saw stretchy slip covers that supposedly fit over the couch, but honestly? The ones I saw were so hideously ugly that I would rather look at the cat vomit. Maybe there's something better looking now. Even if I could afford to buy a new couch, I'd still have to cover it, or else it would end up looking like this one. Okay, that was way too much angst over the stupid couch linens. Next roll: 3, Soak/wash cat food dishes Diane

I put the cat food dishes to soak, and then I got a phone call, which lasted long enough for the dishes to be ready to wash. I washed them, then started the silverware soaking.
I'm going to stop now, before I go to bed I want to finish the decluttering of the rooms I did yesterday (in other words, return the rooms back to the way they were yesterday) and then work on my purge project for a little while.
Don't forget, dice game tomorrow at noon central, if I still have internet access!

Diane, you got a lot done today. Sorry I didn't post more, but going through the mail ended up taking a long time, then I needed a snack, then the dogs needed walking. Now, back to the list.

I'm waiting for the electrician. In my untidy but no longer embarrassingly squalid house He's coming to quote for a new fan for the bathroom. Hmmm, maybe he's forgotten. Anyway while I'm waiting I can get on with some more small jobs. Renumbering then: 1) 2 pieces of handwashing 2) Weed front of house 3) Tidy and dust CD player chest of drawers 4) 5 minutes shredding paper clutter 5) More meds into senior cat (well that's going to happen in the next hour no matter what I throw!) 6) Clean windows (for the first time in, erm, several years!! Hello Ellen I hope your list of jobs is going well! Yours too Cando and it would be great if you could join us later! I rolled 2 - weeding it is then!!
