Yay, Diane, for playing! I love having someone to play with! Wow, that was a long phone call. I called my dr's office, and they said that the life line screening tests are ok to do, so I called to set it up. I go Tuesday morning. It's kind of expensive, but it's tests that the dr. doesn't do during a physical. OK, second roll--2 start load of laundry. off to do that, after I see if there is anything that's been hiding in the washer for the past few days. Yay, there was nothing in the washer! I just dumped lights and darks in together to make a full load. They've all been washed so much, they're not going to mess each other up. Third roll--1--gotta go check and see what that was. I think we started a new page. 1--bathe and dress to shoes. I think I have a clean pair of jeans and am going to try to squeak by without washing my hair. I'll be back in a bit! edit: I think I used all the hot water steaming the wrinkles out of a shawl I'm giving my mom for mother's day--this could be a cold bath. brr Reposting list: 1. bathe and dress to shoes 2. start load of laundry 3. hang up some clean clothes 4. put bedding away 5. read a little for counseling session 6. make phone call to dr. re: lifeline screening

I put away the last pieces of dry laundry from the other day, and straightened up the bathroom since that's not a room covered by my list.
Next roll: 3, LR

Seashell, this is really funny--as I was decluttering the LR and going through some junk mail that I had put to the side a couple weeks ago, one of the pieces that I put into recycling was a notice about "lifeline screening" that is being offered next week. I had never heard of it and you just made a call about it!
I always make a paper copy of my list because I know I'll push the messages to another page--that's because I work for such short periods of time and do a post for each roll!
Next roll: 11, Remove emails

Back--squeaky clean and dressed to shoes. Makeup partially on. Folks do want us to come over today. It's too quiet in here. I think I'll put some music on. Fourth roll--4 put bedding away. That's good, because then I'll be able to reach the tv to put music on.

Diane, that's funny about the lifeline screening notice. I have received several of them over the years and finally decided to do it. I may need to do a paper copy of my list, as well. I put bedding away and turned on tv. There are some old westerns, so I'm just listening to those. My sister wants me to leave in 30 minutes, so I've got to finish getting ready to go. Going now to do makeup, and get mother's day presents my sister is giving her (which are over here), and finish getting things ready to go. I'm going to call my parents and see if it's ok to bring the dogs, since it's been raining--don't want to mess up their carpet with wet dog feet.

My parents are ok with my bringing the dogs, so they will go, too. I have hyper dog's kibble in my purse, along with both their meds. Mom has a can of non-hyper dog's food over there, so I won't take any.
I'm going to go ahead and do #5 on my list--read a little for counseling session, while I wait for my sister to get home.
Diane, it's been fun playing! If my sister doesn't call soon, I may be back.

Hi Seashell, I came back to try to update at 10:45 and my internet was out. I kept working on a few things (although I couldn't even roll my "virtual dice"!) and then left for my event at 11:30. Just got back and I see the service is up again. I've been having terrible problems with it, about every 3 days it goes out, usually for longer than this--sometime for 7 or 8 hours at a time. So, one of these days I'll have to call for service, although I don't know how I'll schedule that with my last minute dog walks.
I think I'll be home the rest of the day, I'll check back here later to see if anyone's playing!

Started this after an hour and a half's worry, procrastination, internet surfing Need to get out of that rut! Spending 15 minutes on whatever comes up..... Threw 3 - sitting room. Sorted out some of the recycling and charity shop stuff sitting on the floor and bagged up ready to take away. Mopped up cat sick and binned sandal it was sitting on (note to self to remember to bin the other sandal when it turns up) Just rolled 2 - kitchen!

15 mins in kitchen - cleaned sink and draining board, washed up, began attacking the unlovely worksurface to the right of the cooker. So far binned out of date flour, several mummified lemons (not mouldy thank goodness), two out of date jars of jam, one not even opened and rescued several unopened spice jars which will be fine once mopped! Rolled again and got 1 - bathroom

De-junked bathroom windowsill and rescued a few bits for the charity shop; binned quite a bit and put what I still needed - or couldn't bring myself to part with - into a small chest of drawers I bought the other day to keep my bathroom supplies in order and minimise dusting.
Now. My house guest Nell has gone out for a walk and I think I must take the opportunity to stop playing the Dice Game and tackle the Fridge of Fear (well I could have done that when I threw whatever number I had for kitchen but I put it off). It's refuse collection day tomorrow and Nell will want to look in there for milk etc tomorrow morning so it makes sense to blitz it now. There may well be monsters and dragons lurking inside so please send out a search party if i don't report back in the next half hour or so!

This is a wonderful idea. I'm in! I found a Random Choice Picker... you list your tasks, one per line, and it picks one for you. You can either leave the task on the list (for those multistage projects, like sorting thru boxes) or remove it (for one hit wonders, like clean bathroom mirror). jklp.org/public/html/choose.htmlI'm starting by just listing all my rooms or spaces. I'm a list freak, so I'm sure it will grow in detail Warning: it does not save your data, so be sure to copy (maybe onto here!) your list if you want to reuse it. My ListYard Work CAR DECK ENTRY LIVING ROOM HALLWAY KITCHEN COMPUTER AREA WEIRD AREA BETWEEN ENTRY AND COMPUTER BATHROOM BLUE BEDROOM PINK BEDROOM GREEN BEDROOM COAT CLOSET LINEN CLOSET STAIRWELL BASEMENT BULLY 3-Minute Challenge Working In Threes Personal Squalor I have a habit of making lists like this in the order which a visitor will see it... that's why yard, car, and deck are on there

Hi y'all. I'm joining in, today! Thecatsmother -- You've done incredibly well, today!!!! Hope you are conquering the fridge! Notahappycamper -- Glad to see you, here, too!!! I'm going to keep my list on paper and am also going to add a twist. After 3 things I'm going to spend 15 minutes on old purses whether or not I've rolled it as it is also on my list. I'm trying to have that as my area of focus until I am done with them... Be back after I finish making my list. CD
