I chopped up carrots, tomatoes and celery, enough to eat as salad today and tomorrow. I have a red pepper too, but I'm thinking of making pasta salad so I'll use it for that. I cleaned the knife, grater and cutting board so they'll be ready for the fruit. I also took the composting out, I guess I should have waited for the fruit for that, but my little refrigerator compost bowl was full so wanted to empty it.
Next roll: 6, summer goal again!

Well, that wasn't very productive. I did move some books around and cleaned off the work table that I use to package books, but that wasn't really summer goal oriented. Or maybe it was... Then I read some posts and posted in the lay-zee thread! Okay, I'll roll again: 5, clean toilet and bathroom sink Diane

Okay, I collected laundry and started the washer, then decided to try on two pair of jeans that have been sitting on my dresser forever. They both needed repair, I ended up cutting one down for shorts to wear around the house, and put the other pair back on my dresser since they still fit, they need shortening (one of these days ). Well Cando, if you have to keep running out and bringing things to people, you will never have time for any work at home! Okay, next roll: 3, 10 minutes decluttering Diane

* took bp med *put load of laundry in washer *folded/hung load of laundry *put that load away What do you do when after laundering something you notice that it has a stain that looks like a wet spot? Argghh! Good khaki pants, too. Anyone know how to get that out? Next roll:"7" -- go thru last few days worth of mail. This will take a while... Don't like this roll... CD

Decluttered for 10 minutes in the kitchen and dining room, and then a little more in the LR. Also moved the clothes to the dryer.
Cando, are you saying the stain was not there before you washed it? If so, it might be oil from one of the machines.
Next roll: 12, Sweep.

I did a quick sweep of every room. Also took the clothes from the dryer and hung them up to continue drying.
I'm going to stop for dinner now, I still have 3 items on my list so I'll try to come back later and finish them.
Hope you don't get any more interruptions, Cando!

Hi Diane. That last roll took me forever, but here's what I did. Went thru mail/incoming papers from the past week * 2 pieces put on DS's bed *8 to be shred *empty box put in garage to be recycled *15 to be filed *19 bills into Office in a Bag (well, some are not bills, but things like registration for our new stove & paperwork to complete that with & for extended warranty if we want to take that out, etc) * 2 put with my book so that I will read them next... newsletters that I want/need to read. *9 coupons put where they go, 68 coupons put in recycle bag *82 papers put in recycle bag in addition to the 68 coupons above. That stain was not there before the pants were put in the machine, Diane... so frustrating! Goodness! I hope that it is not something wrong with the machine, Yikes! Next roll: "3" - Get potatos boiling. That could take a little while, too. Don't wanna! CD

Cando, You have to be careful with stain removers on khaki pants. Sometimes they leave a spot. Take some liquid detergent, pour it on the spot, rub it in a little and then wash it immediately. If you leave the detergent on too long, it sometimes removes some of the dye, and you end up with a area on the fabric that is lighter than the rest.
