Hi lion. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm doing pretty well today, but I started too early I think. I burned out in the garden and now I want a nap.

Sparkle[/b], you are doing great tearing up that agenda! The wind is out of my sails after not getting too far on the phone calls. I'm not giving up, but I'm definitely slowed down. I'm also not abandoning this method yet, since it seems I always slog thru some 'false starts' before hitting my stride . . . Lion[/b], looks like you did well on your kitchen yesterday too,

Oh, step, the wind is out of my sails, too. I shouldn't have jumped right in so early this morning. That's not me. What was I thinking? I'm still trying to figure out how to make this work for me, too. Part of me likes having a list that requires no thinking. Another part says, "don't tell me what to do!" I will say that the little 'done' buttons and check marks show me that I did accomplish something after all. Surely we can figure something out. I love working with you.

Thanks for starting the thread, step! Sparkle, just look at all those green (for completed) dots! Step, that's a great phone call smiley you've got there. Hi, Lioness. So far today, I've been for my annual physical, picked up a prescription, ran a few errands, bought a few groceries, went out to lunch with Hubby, added a car to our auto insurance, opened today's mail (well, one more item to open.) My list so far, is hand written, but I'll add it here, too. eagle's Tuesdayself care mouth care shower & hair annual physical lotion to soften feet & hands prescription filled (Clindamycin) start a new book (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) supplements antibiotics: maintenance bathrooms: clean & tidy countertop upstairs dishes: wash as used; put away as dry dust something: office electronic files: DVR, computer, email, photos, etc. excess reduction: financial: updated check register floors: vacuumed upstairs carpeting/throw rugs garden/houseplants: cultivated raised beds laundry: one load wash/dry/hang/fold/put away meals: trash: cans in from curb upstairs: office paperwork 5 minutes extra tidied up inside car (Hubby really is messy inside the cars) cleaned windshield before driving to Dr. appt put insurance card & registration into car some grocery shopping (small expensive store, so didn't buy much) added new car to our auto policy talked to friend about book group changed out dormers for screens in attic windows (to keep the attic cooler) write a letter to the IRS read letter from son copy owner's manual to thumb drive

appointments/obligations check on widowers Sparkle, what widowers? Do you have a lot of new widowers in your community that need checking on?

Hi eagle. Good to see you. My but you've had a full day. Antibiotics? Sorry you needed them but glad you've got 'em. Darned wonderful invention. The widowers are husband of friend who died a couple months ago (I try to talk to him every couple of weeks) and husband of neighbor who died about ten days ago. That last call was very awkward and I'm not sure it was appreciated, but I felt it was something I needed to do. lion, how goes your day? I'm sorry I missed your kitchen success yesterday. I've only been skimming the boards lately. step, I also have a little section in my pantry now for things expiring soon. I've dubbed it 'use it or lose it'.

Bless you! And I'm glad I didn't make a joke. (Having been there myself, I hesitate to joke about this, though.) The antibiotics are because my primary care physician felt that the Ampicillan I took for the tooth (remember that, 3 rounds of Ampicillan?) did not sufficiently eliminate the infection. He fears that there may have been some residual that has caused some sinus problems, which was then agrivated by the altitude changes with my recent trip to California. I won't go into the details, but he's thinking if this doesn't prevent the complications I was experiencing, he may need to order a CT scan of my sinus.
