Good Morning Everyone  So much excitement going on here I am ready to "Rock and Roll" today. Today feels like my first day of summer break even though I officially finished up work last Friday. Today I do not have to go back and work in my room because my floors are being stripped and waxed but will be going back several times over the summer break. The goal is to have my classroom at 0 degrees before I return from Summer Break. When we go back I want to be able to focus totally on my course work for the students and not have getting my room ready hanging over my head     Coffee Load to wash Fold Load from Dryer Unload Dishwasher Load Dishwasher Fed Furbabies Update Financials Check FB Check E-mail Head to Toe Breakfast/Vitamins/Lunch DS Up Lunch Packed DS Ready Set up summer plans Bed Made Ro6 and Corn Prepping 20 items paper clutter corn shucked Put away dh and ds clothes Lean how to sharpen knife Watched you tube video on how to sharpen stone Soaking stone 5mins knife sharpened Cut ends off corn Find water hose and hook up Find tub for soaking Fill tub up with water  Attempted to start water boiling but there appears to be a leak from the burner to the propane tank. About 3 minutes after I lit the burner flames started burning around the value that controls the flame.  Turned off the propane, later when I attempted again once I turned on the propane I could hear it escaping from around the control value to the burner, could not figure out why. RR -- What plans do you have for this Summer (besides getting your classroom to zero --which is an awesome thing to do!!!)?
Andrea -- I know you have some HAPPY boys, there!!! How'd your stuff go yesterday... sorry you had to go thru it.

*Did something scary. Scheduled to have Energy Efficiency test & repairs done for Monday. Yikes! I have to make sure they can get in the attic, all windows and doors to outside have access, and sinks and under them are accessible. Am I crazy?!!!

15 minutes going thru current papers/mail on dining room table - coupons were put where they go
*Tossed 2 papers, plastic bag, & empty pill box
*1 piece of mail put on his bed
*1 bill into Office in a bag
*5 papers to be filed
Wrote address in address book & a note on calendar
*55 papers/magazine into recycle bag
*15 minutes spent decluttering floor in my bedroom next to my side of the bed -- put bag of greeting cards & sewing bag where they go in my dresser (cabinet part)
*Tossed: piece of trash, monster hair/dustball, gum wrapper & jewelry pouch that I'd like to keep but all dusty/hairy.
*3 bags into bag of bags to be recycled
brand new batteries put in Office Supply Closet
*pair of gloves & pen put in giveaway bag
*2 brand new, unopened DVDs - put in my den. I do want to see these.
*2 receipts to be shred
*1 picture card put in Memories box
19 receipts/papers into recycle bag
*9 receipts put in 2009, 2010 2011 tax boxes
*brand new make-up: mascara, concealer & really neat nail file put in make-up bag in front bathroom
*more books: several I am keeping, but was able to put 2 into giveaway bag
*went to grocery store
changed into workout clothes, etc.
*went to Aerobics class
*changed clothes, again, and freshened up
*put groceries away
*put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard
cooked dinner
*put left overs away

Our old golden lab is dying. It's just a matter of hou.rs now, she can no longer move. I wish that the actual owner would allow me to go ahead and end her suffering. She makes me so sad just lying there, so much sadness in her eyes. We all spent last night crying. That is why I am yjust now waking up. I had 2 very upset kids in my bed last night. Both woke up crying and came in for some comforting. Everyone is hurting right now. I am going to move her to a comforter in the living room and put low bowls of food and water near her head and then I am going to try to get the kids to leave with me to do something fun. Things are going to be upset around here for a while. Hearts are breaking. She was such a wonderful dog.
I somehow don't see a whole lot getting done around the house, at least no one feels like making a mess.

With the carpet gone from the house, I can safely say I am in low 1st Degree, down from a high 3rd Degree in the past. I am celebrating my progress, and just felt like crying when I went back over the Degrees of Squalor and saw how far I'd come.
