A mother rubber duckie "boat" with four baby duckies in the boat part. I ran the mother through the dishwasher and her body filled up with water which I couldn't get to drain out easily. She was a gift, and she was cute, but now she's gone--and the babies went the next day.

Despite the overnight snow, the sanitation workers picked up all the recyclables and the garbage this morning,
I started to fill a new bag for recyclable papers.

Yesterday, I got rid of some boxes of software. I have two laptops, a DOS, and a Mac. I have a desktop also.. none run Windows 95 A publishing suite, and Weight Watchers and other outdated! I plead amnesty, it is all stacked to take to my trash! I do not believe it worth donating! This was all buried in my office. I also took a big pile of paperwork and went through that and tossed. It was dated from a year ago! WOW Cando.. I also tossed some cardboard boxes.. If I sell things on Ebay, will find some. It has not happened yet, I am an expert on buying on Ebay, not selling! KEEP going all, it does add up. Going for some visible and mental results.

A bag of dryer sheets. I bought some last summer because I read that putting one somewhere on your person will keep mosquitoes away. It didn't work, I don't use dryer sheets in the laundry and, after nine months, the box is finally gone.

Tossed out an almost empty can of ant killer my husband left in the kitchen for a week now. We didn't get our special needs daughter's floor and trash taken care of before vacation and came back to ants in her room and the other daughter's room. Asked hubby to toss that can and he said, "there's a little left." Well after chasing daughter down to get that can back and convince her it's not to play with, I tossed it. Also tossed a half a box of gourmet coffee from back of cupboard as it's been there a long time and when it was fresh I didn't like how it tasted.

A bottle of bleu cheese powder that neither my husband nor I remember buying or receiving as a gift, and we can't imagine ever wanting to use.

Yesterday I threw away the ham bone from Easter dinner. Felt sooooo obligated to keep it and make beans with it. Well I already bought chicken bones to make soup with before I knew we were getting a ham. We cooked lunch and enjoyed the ham, it served it's purpose. After saving it I finally decided to chuck it last night. YAY me!

Oops forgot threw away 2 "great" thrift store finds I bought on impulse 2 weeks ago. I liked them at the moment I bought them but didn't want to actually stitch them once I owned them. They just sat in my carry-along bag for 2 weeks. One cross-stitch work in progress.
