6:oo pm. I completed the entire cleaning of the dining room from ceiling to floor. It was very dirty and had to change the water many times. I moved the dining room table back in and cleaned it with windex and put a rectangle plastic table cloth on. The china cabinet went back where it was and that old metal stove?...I put a sheet on it and it became my microwave table, which holds the napkins on the side of it and the wall. I moved the white vase of yellow roses, white daisies, and deep lavendar flowers on top of the microwave with a big lighthouse cookie jar, and a ladies glass old time high heel boot that has different red, yellow and green peppers in a sealed oil mix.
Tomorrow I'll start putting in my entire southwest collection into the china cabinent, and move my Ty Bear collection into the long cabinet above that has 2 shelves. At the end of the far top shelf houses a sealed plexiglass sculputure of CLAY. It is 2 old work horses with harness and reins that are pulling a covered wagon. The top of the wagon is made of muslin. An old thin farmer with bib overalls, wire glasses, a farmer's hat, and a corncob pipe drives the horses. By his sides sits his younger busty, and full figured wife in her long flowing dress, as her bonnet flutters with the breeze. Water barrels, wash board, and a tub hang from the outside of the wagon. As you look in the front and back of the wagon you can see these two pioneers belongings of a china cabinet, dresser, and a table with four chairs.
I made this Clay Sculpture when I went to college at age 49 and got my degree in Business Education. My husband suggested that for the wagon wheels we copy a sliced large orange, taking out the fruit part and leaving the membrane part. We dried this for 5 days and cut the wheels out of clay using this form. I got an A+ in clay and A+ in Human Figure Drawing. It was soooo much fun.

I put all my southwest collection up into the cabinet on the bottom shelf and enclosed it in one fouth in glass that can be taken down if needed. On the top shelf I have variable items like hubby's grandma's two unopened jars of tobaco, 2 snuff jars, and a tiny tin snuff can/lid. On this top shelf are the things I am not parting with. The two cabinet shelves are full of what I want and can not bear to throw or give away. Cleaned in and outside dining room window. Washed the white blinds and re hung them, raising them to the top fourth of the big window. Took a brand new, out of the package , flat colorful sheet on a curtain rod, and pulled the middle of the sheet up to the bottom of the blinds and with a strong piece of cotton twine I tied it to the rod. The sheet that hung down on the sides, I kind of wrapped and to a small nail and tacked it to the outside of the window frame. Instant curtain! Done with shelves and window! Today was supost to be pamper me day. I did, took a shower, did my hair, make-up, put on my clothes and went to eat with my hubby at Zeb's Restaurant with our card playing friends.

Hubby and I sat down this morning and I said to him: "Let's pretend that you and I got married yesterday and I brought you home to my house and asked you how you would clean it up using a schedule."
THIS IS THE RESULT WE CAME UP WITH. I must be sure to check the things off after I get them done for the day.

I don't know how the dining room area got on here, but I'm going back to TALKING about my morning routine. I have it finished for sure now. Had to do trial runs to get it the way I wanted.
