Great def, I can just imagine you chuggin along waving from that train Two loads today, one still to be folded and put away-funny when you've been in laundry maintenance for a few weeks the novelty wears off and it becomes more of a chore and you have to give yourself a good talking to to keep it up!

dreaming, Is laundry maintenance possible? WTG! (Yes, I know it's possible, it's just been a long time since I've been there.)
It's been a crazy week with lots of extra running around. I have done several loads of laundry this week. 2 are on progress right now.

I'm cranky now after a stupid conversation with my mother. How at the age of 43 can she still get me going? "You're mad." "No I'm not." "You sound mad." "No I'm not." "I think you're mad." *sigh* NOW I am mad.
Off to work on 2 loads of clean laundry.

I have done several loads of laundry this week. 2 are on progress right now. Sure it's possible Ally. And then it takes 1 day here and the whole darn thing falls to pieces and you're behind again. haha!! I didn't do anything in the way of laundry I think for 2 days. And so of course now I'm playing catch up. I washed 2 loads last night but didn't do anything past that with them. So tonight I got: Load darks folded/hung & put away Load towels folded & put away In machines now: Load lights drying 2nd load towels washing My 2 yo thinks it's great fun to dump water out of the bathtub. And even though I am sitting right there, he manages to get quite a bit out. So I think I had to use about 4 towels to catch and sop up the water yesterday and another one tonight. My rugs are waiting to be washed as it seems someone dropped turdies on one and then the others got swamped out, even though I moved them away from the tub when he was in there. haha! I should have tile floors with a drain in the middle!

2 you thought the basket of clean lights should be dumped out on the bedroom floor repeatedly. So they're now all folded or hung up and put away, including a few socks in the load were matched. All matches found. Woot!
I'm done with laundry for the night. It's 10 pm and we're going to go to bed since 3 am comes way too soon. Tomorrow I will have the 2nd load of towels that are drying to fold. And looks like I'll have one load of darks to wash. But I should be back on track. Rugs washing now too.

Yesterday I got a load of laundry folded/hung and put away before we left for our anniversary night. Today I know I have one load in the dryer waiting to be taken care of and need to access what I need to wash. Should only be one load .... probably linens.

So laundry was tackled today. - Load of clothes hung/folded & put away.
- Load towels washed, dried, folded & put away
- Set of sheets washed & drying
Things under control though. Only a small amount of items in my lights and color baskets in laundry room.

I got my one load done yesterday, I'm hoping for a full cycle today, so I want to put away the load that I put in the washer this morning, by tonight, so that will actually be three loads.

Good job boyswillbeboys! I'm averaging 1-2 loads a day unless I have bedding. But if I have a day that I just skip and think "Oh I don't have any," then the next day I may have 3. I will tell myself I'm only doing 1-2, but somehow I end up wanting to get stuff done. Today's laundry accomplishments .... Gathered all dirty laundry in am and brought to laundry room Folded & put away clean set sheets in dryer (washed last night) Washed & dried dd's sheets Washed & dried dd's comforter New sheets and comforter on dd's bed Washed, dried, folded/hung & put away load lights Washed, dried, folded/hung & put away load darks So that was 4 loads I ran. I really don't count the bedding as some days we have it every day with dd. We had a good streak .... 4 days we didn't have to wash her bedding. So it was time.

Its just me since the children are grown and out of the nest, so I do the laundry about once a week or less often. When I do its bedding, towels, and clothes. I do them at my daughter's house so its easy to make sure they are also folded, and I am good about putting them all away most of the time. So I am joining and this week's laundry is even done!

WTG Mare!! So nice to be done for the week. Oh the days when I did it once a week. Well .... I still could be in that boat, but trying to get out. Because once a week is an allllllllll day long event for me which I despise.

I need to jump on in here.
My 2yo has stopped taking naps in her crib due to fear (long story!) so if she gets a naps these days it is a fluke and on the couch or car and I am not willing to leave her either place to do the laundry (The staircase in the living room is ungatable.)
So the last month or so I haven't been able to keep up with the laundry as I had been doing. I was in a load-a-day habit and sheets and towels weekly.
My 14yo did his laundry the other day and put my clean load in a basket and never brought it up. My husband had sent my son to bed without finishing his laundry and since he (the 14yo) had a flight to catch the next day my husband went to switch it over. Well, he threw the clean load in at like 11pm. Gah! So those were my clothes and now they have been in the washer for a full 32hrs or so and probably stink.
Long story short - I gotta get the babe in the crib and let her cry it out while I pop the laundry to and fro. Mama needs a shirt!

My 2 yo has some LESS than awesome sleeping habits. Fortunately our house is one level so I can get to the machines easily. Many years back when I just had the 2 oldest girls, I lived in a townhouse that had bedrooms upstairs and the laundry on the main living area. That was a hassle getting things upstairs. I always had one sofa that was full of laundry and it was a game to see if I could ever get it put away before one of the kids (had a couple extra little ones) knocked it all down. My sons game now is to take everything I have clean on the bed as I am trying to do it and throw it on the floor.

So I only got the one done yesterday, but a small load of hang to dry clothes went through the wash and got hung up, and a new load went in while the dryer was still running, I only put the one load away though, still meets my original goal of a load a day.
Trying for two loads put away today
