i have had a bad time lately with flashbacks of unpleasant stuff. haven't been able to deal with mom's stuff lately several of my pets have been sick, 2 died in the last month.. do i need to say more about how gross this can make a home? i've kept everything but the livingroom from being disgusting. but i haven't dealt with the livingroom yet. and it is disgusting. i mean really disgusting.
oh yeah, and mancreature's parents will be here friday at 3:30pm friday. and i'm taking 25 credits of classes.
so uh i woke up and wanted to do nothing. and pulled the blanket over my head. got up, checked email, read forums crawled into showered, poofie sponge expired so i used it to scrub the shower then threw it away. hair up, moisturised, makeup on, dressed, jewelry on. load of whites dry, darks in washer maintained bathroom- counter, sink, toilet, scooped catbox, swept, swiffered floor picked up the bedroom- laundry put away garbage tossed, dishes in sink, swiffered bamboo mat, made bed, opened curtains. called in to pharmacy for refill

Put Mom's clothes in laundry Put moving boxes away Tidy my room Rearrange living room to disguise "hole" left by Mom's recliner Put hamper back in the bathroom Visit Mom Return merchandise Buy shelf-liner Refill meds Write Rita Ask about Fanfare chat room problem Update Fanfare Pay Citibank Resort mail (it got shuffled during family visit) Tidy kitchen Get insurance paperwork in order File facility paperwork Change water filter Activate new card file financial stuff that was out for admittance I had trouble getting to sleep last night because i started to think about how much I stil have to do - and I remembered something else I forgot about .......aaaaahhhhhhh...... Razy - This sounds familiar to me! Sometimes it is hard to tell the brain to rest for the night, isn't it? You're working very steadily these days and it is an inspiration. UdderChaos is right about choosing what to do, though. It doesn't all have to be done immediately. UdderChaos - First, I love your avatar! I can't remember seeing haloed cow in silhouette before! Looks like a hard-core laundry day in your neighborhood. Sometimes I wonder why we bother with clothes (but then I look at a mirror and remember!) You go, girl. AnnieOkie - Looks like Older Son lucked out on the mowing. Hmm. Maybe he should pay YOU! Eagle - Careful putting the tire in the trunk or you may be doing those fingernails again! djdj - You are keeping your feet moving even when your heart is heavy. Wish I could be there to help, sweetheart. Cando and Gringa, well done yesterday! Just looking at the amount of work accomplished in these threads is inspiring. You rock!

thanks for kind words... i am just tired and bleh and overwhelmed. and of course i feel like that and do less so i get more overwhelmed... well, wasn't caught up on laundry.. ran a load of kitchen laundry through. heap of washing for mancreature to put away when he gets home. i've been obnoxious to him lately.. i'm dealing with my own problems + he is super sensitive. we're a terrible combo when we're bad. a lovely combo when we're well. lovely. must express appreciation for him tonight. but the poor thing. i run hot and cold so he never knows what'll happen next. but. note to self. A. ask him to put away laundry and a dozen other things. B. express appreciation for those dozens of things.
kitchen maintained- dishes done, counters wiped down, sink wiped down, floor swept and swiffered
started to pick up diningroom. it won't get finished. i guess that's life.:/
almost time to go to counseling. decided to not come home right away afterwards.. going to study in nearby cafe. then have some shopping to do. want to get it taken care of tonight so not running around the rest of this week.
focusing on being positive. it feels so disingenuous when my automatic reaction is to revert to some really abysmal thinking right now. on the other hand how else do you change your thinking other than well. slowly changing it. alas. what a dilemma.

To Do's from today: -I may have to mow and weed-eat the front yard myself this evening. Older son got the back yard yesterday, but he has to volunteer tonight and it is supposed to rain tomorrow (the day he promised me to finish....grrrrr.) Good thing is that it may be the final mowing of the season. (Modified to add....note to self....NO MORE pre-paying him for chores!!)- Not done, did not have time before dark! -Take engagement/wedding ring to jewelers, one of my diamonds is loose!!- Done, actually two were loose and I hopefully will get it back Thurs.-Fold and put away laundry in dryer.- Done.-Supper for younger son and I.- Done.-Help with homework.- Done, one more page to go.... Ta Da's -Organized Cub Scout fundraiser popcorn to be distributed. -Washed load of towels, they are in dryer now. -Put all of younger son's shorts and tank tops in a labeledbox and put them in the top of his closet for next year. -Cleaned off the top of microwave (threw out about 8 packs of expired micro popcorn, what a waste) and sprayed it down with cleaner and wiped. -Divided younger son's school pics to distribute to other family members. -Went to library to update library cards. I had kept some books for a LONG time and finally snuck them into the drop box a few months ago. Surprisingly they did not have any fines due on my account. I may have paid it and forgotten. Got younger son a replacement card, but his account has a missing book to be returned. I think it is in my mess of a living room and we will look for it this weekend. I want to set a better example to my boys on things like this. May get a few things done before bed, will post those if I do....have a good evening all!

went to counseling. grueling. changed to light hearted banter about politics. we have the same inclination. he does a marvelous job of being a caring human with personality while maintaining boundaries. i'm highly impressed at times.
went for a walk for a few miles. didn't get any studying done.. there are parks all over near his office.. did some shopping. things on my list. the #1 thing i wanted i couldn't find. only got stuff on list. so. yeay for me. i had some stupid frivolous things on the list. but i did stick to it. mancreature picked me up and i made the impromptu decision to get my eyes examined and get glasses since we were in the neighborhood of my optomeristristy place. gave several pairs of glasses. backups. and backups for my backups. my prescription hasn't changed in 8+ years so i'm guessing it won't any time soon now either<knock on wood>
8 hours later i am home hehe.. and i -still- am hell bent on getting garbage out of the front room tonight and the diningroom half of it to being clean. and oh yeah there's still that political science reading to do. we'll see how that goes eh?
