Everyone is really "smoking" today, pardon the pun.
I washed all the dishes, dried them, and put them away. I also washed six cans I had intended on rinsing out so I could put in recycle. That's done.
I'll clean the counters/stovetop tomorrow. I've got other things to work on now.

Great job, saffron ! Arid You are amazing!!! Put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard, unloaded dishwasher and washed sinkful of dishes. (Well, we are 2 days in to new plan of dish maintenance with DS & DH doing their share. So far, so good! I spoke with them Sunday morning. Can you believe that I dirtied an entire sinkful by myself between morning and 2pm today?! And, that was from cooking done only for me... I had those done by 3pm, though). CD

I washed up before I went to work yesterday and today, and I've just done the dinner dishes. I'm finding that if I fill the sink before I start cooking it's much more likely that I'll get them done.

Good job, wynken!

All the dishes that were downstairs are now done! That only leaves...
Our coffee cups Our water glasses One tupperware One plate
Which I will do later today when I start getting stuff ready for dinner!
Heh. Once I actually got started I quickly realised there wasn't nearly as much to do as I thought. Granted it'd been a while since I'd done them, but nowhere near as long as I used to sometimes leave them for. I think I was more psychologically worried about them out of habit than anything else.

Peeks out from under chair and crawls out. Big sigh was off the dish washing wagon for about a week. Ever so slowly crawling back on. I did three sinks full of dishes yesterday. Washed dried and put away. One sink full done so far today. Need to do the rest of the free range cups saucers and silverware. Then it will be onto cleaning the stove and counters.

WOO HOO!!! I went to bed before the dishes were done (I had rinsed them and stacked them neatly in the sink) and I guess Brownies came and unloaded and reloaded and started the dishwasher while I was sleeping!!!!

Another sink full of dishes washed and put away I now have silverware and do not have to search for an eating utensil. I am wondering though how some of it ended up where it did . Who knew it liked to hide under the sofa. The stove is scrubbed down and the grates are soaking to get the crud off.

Welcome back keepinitklean. I'd wondered how you were going. Big wtg on jumping back in and playing catch up. Woot to Di and her helpful Brownies. They sound house trained - maybe - or at least dish washer trained. So true bunny. Starting is the key to beginning. - ahhh W - Me too seashell. A clean sink and draining boards is a novelty here too.

I've been OFF lately. As in, I can't concentrate. I told myself this morning I would remove myself from "One Item A Day", "One Cleaning Chore A Day" "2014 Items", and "Dish washer-upperers support". Some how it slows me down, confuses me, distracts me, I'm not sure why.
But, when I came back to SOS I said I would try the forums, and try to "balance" my life. I'm going to keep these threads and try to work it out and make new habits!
I have washed at least a sinkful of dishes every day. But, I am not caught up. I am not giving up on myself. I'll keep working at it. I will not become discouraged in trying.
Will I wash dishes today? I do have to wash some plates and forks so we can eat!! Will I do it? I hope so!

I unloaded the "Brownie" load and I reloaded the few I used today. I will try to get dinner dishes loaded after everyone eats.

Only once today, but after supper as that is the most important dish washing of the day for me. It's sooooo good to wake up to a clean kitchen.
