This is the Working in Threes Thread (W.I.T.)
EVERYONE IS WELCOME, especially if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple:
- Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous.
- Do one more little thing.
- Do another little thing.
Once you have 3 things done, post them here.
- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing.
- Go forth and conquer, return and post again.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or
depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying
- Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen
- Put away phone book
- Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
. . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's
- Took pop can to kitchen
- Put away phone book
- Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's:
- Bring plates and glasses to kitchen
- Put dirty socks in hamper
- Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post.
Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da!
If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you.
Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das.
YOU DESERVE THEM!

Good morning Carrie and Snail! Nice to see people getting such a big jump on the morning! Snail - I agree, a nap is a TaDa! And it is nice to see you take that nap, then get right back to cleaning. I am guilty of napping - and having that be the end of my productive day.
TaDa:
1. Hot breakfast for me and DD.
2. Meds taken.
3. Played with DD and puppy. Talked with her about the plan of action for house trainging today.
ToDo:
1. Get dog laundry in washer.
2. Clean upstairs bathroom sink.
3. Clean upstairs bathroom toilet.
**ETA: Wave to Sygyzy! We were posting at the same time!**

Good morning, Carrie, snailspace, Syzygy, and skatters. I'm a first-time poster to the threes thread. I thought I'd try it out today. TaDa: sent one e-mail made paper list for the day ate breakfast  ToDo: shower2shoes w/makeup---  DONE go shopping for DAunt--- DONE visit DAunt--- DONE Those last three will take quite awhile, so I'll be back much later in the day. Welcome saffron! It looks like you got the hang of posting in threes! Which isn't a hard concept, especially since there are no rules! Have a good visit with your aunt today!
TaDa:
1. Laundry in washer.
2. USbath sink cleaned.
3. USbath toilet cleaned. I even wiped down the outside!
Bonus: Put moisturizer on my feet, and warm fuzzy socks. Posted pics of my new puppy in Byways. Answered a few other posts.
TaDa:
1. Reboot laundry.
2. Change kitty litter.
3. Took puppy out to potty. In 50 mph winds - no joke.
TaDa:
1. Pick up stuff on bathroom floor.
2. Sweep bathroom floor.
3. Wash cat stuff and replace.
**Bonus** Emptied bathroom and laundry room garbage.
ToDo:
1. Take garbage and recycling out to appropriate places.
2. Load dishwasher.
3. Unclog, and try to get garbage disposal working again.

Hiya Snailspace! Good job with making the bed... I struggle with that. I think I will do just that...

1. Took recycling and garbage out.
2. Folded dog load in dryer.
3. Hand fed puppy part of her lunch. (Working on training...)
TaDa:
1. Reboot laundry.
2. Brought two loads of things on the stairs upstairs.
3. Take puppy out (again) after eating. (No luck, which means I go back out in a few minutes.)
ToDo:
1. Load dishwasher.
2. Wipe down kitchen counters.
3. Wipe down stove.

Hello to Carrie, Syzergy, Saffron, Snailspace, and Skatters.  Skatters--I hear you on training of puppy. You're doing fine. Keep on with the patience. Tadas: 1)put away load of laundry from the other day 2)moved load of laundry that I had to redo last night into the dryer & hung the hang-dry things 3)put 15 bottles into recycle bag... DS brought a bunch of bottles from his bedroom & put on my sink counter. I'm so happy that he decluttered them from his room. Todos: 1)dress to shoes 2)brush hair 3)take DD to Girl scout meeting. Cando - great job on getting on with the laundry. I can't begin to tell you how much water and laundry soap I have wasted re-washing loads of laundry.
I am thrilled with our puppy. She consistently pees outside, but is still struggling to poop out there. So today, I am keeping her close by (or with my daughter) and taking her out constantly. I hope to 'catch' her outside, and reward, reward, reward her!
TaDa:
1. Loaded most of dishwasher. Couple of things are soaking.
2. Wiped down 2 counters.
3. Wiped down stove top.
TaDa:
1. Took puppy outside again. (Still no poop - but she pees like a champ!)
2. Unclogged kitchen sink.
3. Picked up another load of things from the stairs.
ToDo:
1. Make my bed. (Thanks snails!)
2. Sort a two clothes baskets of clothes from my bedroom floor. Either to the laundry room, or in the trash.
3. Reboot laundry.

2. Made bed.
3. Emptied and put away two suitcases from vacation in July that were left on my bedroom floor.
ToDo:
1. Reboot laundry. (it wasn't ready the first time.)
2. Clean out two feet of bedroom floor.
3. Make first pass at picking up garbage in bedroom.

Hi all, Skatters, sounds like the puppy is a lot of fun. Our dog is 10 years old and beginning to slow down. He was quite easy to housebreak, thank heaven. TaDas walk dog meds, breakfast, put dishes in dishwasher clean bathroom counter put 4 things in pile to go out got rid of 3 magazines read paper and got rid of instead of having it hang around for days ToDo finish washing pans-done prep dinner-dinner 3 more magazines-done pick up clothes on floor in bedroom-done Additional Tadas fill and run dishwasher walked dog a little longer, this is good for both of us!
