Didn't post last night, but I DID get a bag done! Another bag of laundry at the house sitting locale. 17 bags in 17 days.

Good Work All I have been a bit silent for the past week but I do have 1 major accomplishment under my belt. I finished cleaning of my cart of 25 Macbook Pros in my classroom. This is a huge accomplishment for me because I always try to go through and pull files off. This year I just hit the delete button. I have such a back log of digital clutter that I did not even need to add to it. I have will to guestimate the number of files deleted 25 Mac Books X 4 logins = 100 users 100 users X average number of files (photos, documents, audio) 250 = 25000 I will go with that 25000 files deleted of student computers. YAY me.

Hola! I've been working in random areas today. I found that for whatever reason we had been putting empty dog-food-bags in a corner in the basement, I think we thought we'd use them as trash bags. (One of my neighbors does that with turkey feed bags.) The dog has been dead 2.5 years. I just shoved 5 of the bags into one large bag. Out it will go on Wednesday night! Yesterday and today DD and I flattened out about 30 cardboard boxes that we will drive to the dump, which has an area for cardboard recycling. This will count as 2 more bags.

I like this thread. I'm not really purging yet, I'm working on the regular house trash getting out.
Today I took 1 bag of kitchen trash and added all the bath trash to it. I picked up all the trash behind the door, and the plastic wrap from toilet paper rolls, and the bar soap wrappers on the floor by the tub. So it was kind of a clean up.
I also looked at some sippy cup lids in my kitchen drawer. Youngest kid is 13. Still use the cups, haven't used the lids in more than 5 years. Also, I have 4 soup ladles. Think I need to get a kitchen stuff donation to goodwill box going soon. Today I'm sticking with my "find the kitchen counters" adventure.

Today I deleted 588 emails. I figured I better step it up - I was barely touching the surface.
For pick up this AM I put out 1 bag of regular garbage, 1 bag of recyclables, and 1 bag of yard waste when I decluttered the weeds.
