Good work in laundry Lucie. Flotsam, working hard I see. Onthemend, like it, some studying then some dishes! Hat is made, but a disaster and pretty much unwearable. Pattern is allegedly for age 3-6, dd is a very tall, but smallish headed, almost 10 year old, but the hat is enormous and looks ridiculous... Get meat in oven for lunch. Sort out some sort of potatoes and vegetables for lunch. Empty dishwasher. Refill dishwasher. Sewing stuff packed away. Get French beans with tomatoes, garlic etc cooking. Put sewing stuff back upstairs. Put pattern away. Print out slouchy beanie pattern. Load dishwasher. Tidy up after lunch. Wipe over kitchen table. Cut out hat. Sew hat. Try hat on dd. Make a steam catcher terry towel bag thing for dh's brewery. Load and set washing machine. Shower and get dressed. Get kids showered and dressed. Trace next sewing pattern for another dress for dd.

HI I am running a bit late today (well the whole weekend long). so far. Just so everyone does not think I am superwoman as I am still slow as molasses. This is me (M) and the house cleaning lady (HC) working on the house. (M) (HC) house - steamed with shark (HC) house including kitchen (HC) (M) (HC) extra kitty mess (HC) scrubbed kitty boxes (M) house (HC) house (HC) bowls cleaned and ready to transfer the fish tonight (M) Next up I am currently working on the dishes: about 1/2 done. Dishes are done: all of them except the ones in the fridge (M) fridge cleaned out (M) 1/2 of fridge dishes done (M) Trash bags all set out for garbage man (HC) I am not sure what it is... if need someone to work with like I have with Chat here and the work alongs (partially it I think) or that I can't stand to set on my behind and watch someone else clean my messy house (this is a big part of it) but when the House cleaning lady is over I get a ton of stuff done too and it is usually the fringe items that would be icing on the cake like kitty boxes scrubbed and fridge cleaned out.

Decluttered some papers and a cook book, listening to an audiobook and downloading still works. What more can I wish for?

Dinner made and eaten, counters wiped. I made a mess with my dinner food, and cleaned that up. New dirty dishes are soaking, and I will wash those too.
Clocks have been reset, and laundry room booked for 2 hours (= 2 loads).

! Wow! I started this thread Fridayand feel like I fell off the face of the earth. I come back today and I am just amazed and blown away at all of the work everyone has accomplished!!
I came home Friday and immediately went out to give blood. I could not find the blood drive at the firehouse. I hope I didn't screw up the dates, but I likely did. So my son and I went and grabbed something to eat. All I had was a bowl of chili, but I felt so stuffed afterwards that I felt very uncomfortable. So I came home walked the neighbor's dog and went to bed. I am house sitting for the neighbor.
Saturday I walked the dog fulfilled my obligation at the high school craft fair went to an Eagle Scout ceremony and had a free lunch, back to the craft fair to finish helping, and I had plans for a quiet night at home to get some work done.
The owner of a local restaurant who has become a good family friend, had a party and I found out via dear hubby, that we had been invited. I was torn., I wanted to go but I did not want to go. Does anyone watch those Real Housewives of TV shows? Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of New Jersey, etc.? I called these women the Real Housewives of insert town name here. So it was not my plan to spend the evening with the Real Housewives, but I did. I got to know some of them a little bit bit better, but they are still not my choice of people to spend an evening with.
So after the party I stumbled home, so thankful I lived around the corner. Walked the dog and went to bed.
So today has to be a catch up day. I've already purged another bag of clothes from my closet I have to meet a friend this afternoon, so I will give her the two bags that I am getting rid of. While at the craft fair Saturday, I did manage to get some gifts for Christmas purchased. I have to get them in the house and in The Christmas Box.
I also have to do some work on the refrigerator, I cleaned it really great last week but I need to defend the territory. I need to toss them expired food and make a list for groceries this week. Still trying to do the real cheap. Need to declutter the kitchen again I pulled the cushions inside to dry out and now I need to get them in the bags and in the garagealso have to make a quick run to get some tarps and some clips to coversome stuff on the deck..
but the big news is..... The dryer is hooked up!! I can start cranking out more laundry!
Okay. Back at it. Can't wait to see what everyone else has done!

TML - it's an add-on for Firefox browser, which helps to block unwanted websurfing. I guess it boils down to being a productivity tool. You can make the setting very easily just so for your individual needs. As I personally usually spend HOURS every day on this site, I have now prevented my surfing here so I can study better. I am now allowed to surf 5 minutes every 30 minutes. (The setting are, like I said highly customizeable and easy to change). When I get my studying for a day done, I allow the surfing again It's been only few days but it's proven to be a very helpful tool. Time's running up... I folded and out away dry laundry and hanger 1st load to dry.

thanks I found it and I downloaded foxfire and leechblock. I did not block SOOS on the weekends but during the weekdays I did the 5 min every 30 min for a reasonable window (I.e. no staying up past 11 PM). I also blocked all my news channels and twitter. I am more a news junkie than anything else.

TML - I saw that image too earlier, but didn't like the name calling, so I have been just using the default blogging page thus far. *** I retrieved my second load of laundry and hanged it up to air dry. I still have tons to read, but will wash the sinkful of dishes I have soaking.... No more time for house work today, other than that.
