Combs. I normally keep one in my purse, and in a bathroom drawer and a bedroom drawer. Right now I can only find the purse one, and have to keep moving it around daily. Where oh where are the others?

shabbychic - I have three black cats, and sometimes I can't see them, either. I kept kicking them when they would lie on the fluffy, dark bath mat (the bathroom being a speed-through zone). Not lately, though … I think they learned not to hang out there.

DD was looking for her camera and the cord this morning, too. Some stuff is really hard to keep track of. Which is why having a lot less stuff overall is really good … so much easier to find those "wanderers."

@hordfest, you can make a temporary crevice tool out of an empty paper towel tube. Just cut and tape til it fits. Hope you find your real one soon!

Ugh, I can never find the gardening tools, charis. Anything that fits into the broad category of "garage stuff" is still pretty disorganized. Still way too much junk in the garage.

By the way, Since I can't find the regular hammer, or the ball peen hammer, I have been using the horseshoe hammer. Do I have horses? NO! Do I know how to put shoes on a horse? NO! Why is the a horseshoe hammer in my garage?

In my packing mess I have found my crevice tool, my hammers, and my garden trowel, but I can't find any of my nail care stuff and my finger nails are getting lots of snags. Oh, and I found my horseshoe too.

@hordfest, or maybeyou need more tape! My crevice tool is from 1984 ... so 30 years old. It's being held together with duct tape. I've never seen a horseshoe hammer. Googling it now...

Why is the a horseshoe hammer in my garage? So, do you have the rest of the horseshoeing tools? A hoof knife, hoof trimmers, nail biters and a clenching iron?
