Old shoes, who can party without dancing, and tatty memorabilia from weddings where the people are now long divorced (old mini gift boxes and stuff). and raggy old wool balls for streamers!

Hi sophie hatter - you are so right about needing party appropriate clothing and shoes. I will see what I can find that might suit this special occasion.

Don't you girls ALL realise if you just get together and pool those candles and melt them you can make one good candle?

Warrior Kimmy im so glad you brought that quilt cover to the party. Its a bit chilly tonight and i think it will make an excellent cover for our once treasured possessions. They dont possess us any more! sending positive vibes that the universe will gift you with sonething feminine and beautiful to adorn your bed.

The vacuum cleaner needs to be cleaned out. Its one of those bagless ones and it is packed with dirt and cat hair. Im going to get a dust mask and then go for it.

Ugg, i cleaned it out. Then i vacuumed a couple of sq ft. Then i cleaned it out again. Vacuumed another couple of feet. Cleaned it out again. I now need a new filter. But i have a half of a shopping bag of dirt and cat hair to contribute to the party. laughing because i forgot the carpet was green and not gray.

Trash is in the bin and took the bin to curb. Threw in a bonus bag of junk from the car. Still to go later-paper bag of cut down boxes to recycle bin, 2 very large bags of stuff to donate. That will go when i leave for therapy. In the meantime, i think i need a short nap.

Swampy, you must have been up all night, preparing for the party! I'm so excited to see that so many friends are coming - this is going to be awesome! Yay! I have a squishy cucumber I can bring. We won't need forks for it, but maybe straws would be a good idea. I remember when we used to have a ton of straws hanging around. I wonder why we saved them? They must have been one of my very first baby steps out of this hoarded home, "Get out! My house's packed already, you're junk." BUT I do have a pile of napkins, saved from take out meals, probably dusty as all get-out. They're coming! I can vacuum the livingroom, and then add my bag to the fun. That'll have Ontario dirt, cats hair, and *lots* of dog hair, with the odd dried leafy bit for colour. I miss my bagless, because I can fill these bags up in minutes. At 3/$10, I've been known to slit them, empty them, and tape them back up. messy, very messy...

I'll call my cucumber concoction a "smoothie" so it's not so gross, perhaps? I'm also bringing make-up - oooh, girly party! Di, if your gift bags aren't part of a landslide, then they're not meant for the Landfill Party - no worries. My bags, on the other hand, had previously only ever been tossed when I'd found bird seed and mouse poop in them. The bags I'm tossing atm are bags that were sitting beside my dresser for the better part of 2 years - then I moved them into the entranceway of my Extra Goodies room, and then they made it back into my bedroom for Christmas wrapping - and never left! Geez! Plus, I ended up buying a couple this year anyhow, duh. Bye bye bags!

Oh I forgot, thank you for reminding me - I have a package of cupcakes, left over from Christmas - never opened, whee - I'm sure with all the preservatives in them, they're still fresh and tasty!

I have peeps! I think they were from maybe summer 2013? I think the cucumber smoothie sounds great, maybe we can even add my spinach and celery. I might have straws too, somewhere. Yes, cyn i was up all night. I slept 1pm to 9 pm yesterday. Can i throw my bad sleep habits out too? I had coffee earlier and then felt tired and tried to take a nap but that isnt working. Especially since the trash truck keeps driving up and down the street. I guess im getting a bit punchy. Id like to do this again next week. I am about a third of the way done with the living room. I can see the gift bags, i just cant reach them (i did threw a couple out that i had put stuff in). I have 2 bags of vcr taps and a vcr too. Lots of other fun stuff too. For today, the cats were celebrating by dancing on the coffee table.
