Another brand new week to play with! Yay! Big hugs, and plenty of warm hot chocolates, for any Soos friends caught in the blizzard. Who's ready for a good time of desqualoring?

I've given my kitchen a little tidy while my dogs ate, and I've also fed the birds. I'm going to enjoy some coffee, and then tackle the bathroom. What a mess, ha. You'd never know I cleaned it last week. I have to keep telling myself to forget about when I cleaned 'last' and just accept the fact that there's a cleaning 'next' instead. Then I have the choice of emptying my bedroom, clearing up all the stuff elsewhere, sorting, or replacing caulking and patching a wall in my bathroom. Hmmm. They all sound like so much fun, I just can't choose.

Bathroom is de-junked and can now be cleaned without having to worry about that stuff. I did the unthinkable, and stomped a nice perfume box into the recycling bin. Yes I did!

Hi MrsMessy, thanks for the company here. Good luck with your closet. An hour at a time is still progress! WTG! But they just seem to invite messes, don't they? I have one closet that's all filled up with bags of stuff. That'll be fun to go through, some day. Blah.

Got Puppy to eat the rest of her food (DH gave her meds & food this morning while I slept -- trying to recover from whatever it is that I have…) Left voice mail message for my doctor. Phone call with Dr.’s Nurse. Another phone call with Dr’s Nurse -- She is calling in Augmentin & I am to switch to the prescription nasal spray that she is calling in. I asked about stomach issues with the Augmentin as I thought I remember that one causing diarrhea. She said to take Probiotics. Hmmmm…. Hate this! Good news! I weighed in & have lost 1 ½ pounds -- Now, weigh 146.5 lbs. I was up to 148 lbs so I am happy with this!

Well, the closet has been completely cleaned out. I have all of my clothes clean and back into the closet. I am finding out that now that I have everything clean, I need more hangers!! I am now looking around at all the stuff that is NOT clothes that came out of the closet and needs to go somewhere...really don't want to put a good amount of it back into the closet. That is the challenge for the rest of the day. Cyn, I definitely have perfume boxes that I am having trouble letting go of - they are so nice I think surely I'll find a use for it...we know how that goes... Cando great job on the weight loss! Ohblondie - progress is progress! I am taking a much needed break and then going back at it.....I have about an hour until DH comes home and want to make the most of my time. Mrs Messy

Good morning Cando, congrats on the weight loss! WTG! I hope you're feeling better today - hugs. MrsMessy, great job on your closet. I hope you found new homes for the stuff that you didn't want to put back in there. (I struggle with this) Today I've done a toilet scrub, but I'll have to redo it because the brush didn't get down deep enough. I fought so hard to get that area white, I'm not letting the water deposits ruin it. I've got the dishwasher loaded and ready. I'm not sure what's coming next, with so many loose ends around here. But I've got my energy back today, so *whatever* I end up doing will be a great improvement around here!

Good morning! I'm not having high hopes to do much today because I have 5 walks plus my senior client, but I wanted to check in and see what's going on. Cyn, good luck picking a good project today! One that will make you happy to have worked on!
My tiny goal for today is to do a little bit of book listing--that's all I'm aiming for. I have about 3 hours free in a row this afternoon so I hope to at least do that.
I hope that anyone who's snowed in today still has power and is getting lots done.
Diane

Wow Diane, you're busy today! I hope the weather's nice where you are, and those walks are enjoyable for you. I've got the dishwasher going, and I started putting things back onto the shelving in the room. I'm making tiny progress, and it's not that bad once I get into it. I set up a 3-tier rack, so that I can put things in a more concise order for storage. Good, Better, & Best. Then I can revisit the 'Good' stuff in a few months and possibly get rid of it. Here's hoping, anyway!

Definitely snowed in here and just got up a little while ago but am hoping to get some items worked on today. After some of my tests yesterday I know I need to slow down even more and do easier tings around here. I did have some great news - Spinal tap showed that the cancer is no longer in my spinal fluid and the tumors on my spine have shrunk considerably which made doctor and I very happy. The bad news was I still needed a transfusion and my vitamin levels were extremely low so they had to hydrate me and give me lots of meds thru my iv. Doctor and I are both hoping the transfusion will help at this point. She did do the immunotherapy injection and believes I should be able to go back to getting it every 6 to 8 weeks instead of every 2 weeks which has me happy again. The other piece of bad news I got was that I had a TIA and she is concerned that I could have another stroke so she orderded me not to do anything with heavy lifting or that could stress me out at this point. Mainly what I plan to work on at this point is scanning papers and possibly working on getting bedding clean and possibly making my bars that a friend sent me the recipe to make.

I am snowed in too....
Yay Andrea on the good news about the cancer and tumors!!! I am sorry to hear about the TIA (((hugs))).
I am working on work items and still dragging about the house. I think the pneumonia is almost gone but being sick with pneumonia meant I did not keep up on all my exercises so now my car accident damage is singing (hurting like heck) and I am using the rollator for a few days. I was trying not to use it as it is several steps back from the cane even but I found that if I did not use anything I was avoiding having to get up and move which is not good for me.
Next thing on my list is a quick lunch and then a 30 mi paper review. The goal is to have both lunch and review completed by :45 AM. I also want to finish Bio by :00.
So here goes - go go go

Finally was able to get my scanner working again so I did scan 50 papers so far and have done dishes from lunch plus continue working on cleaning blankets and sheets. At this point I still have 2 or 3 more loads of blankets to be caught up again and am seriously hoping I will be able to get them done tonight. Now that I can scan again I plan to get as much done as possible since I am uncertain if the boys will have school or not and if my appointment will happen or be cancelled at this point. I seriously need the appointment tomorrow but depending on the road conditions I don't want to have to go out if it is bad out. I also need to do the exercises doctor gave me to try and help with the pain I am having lately since they seemed to help last night.
