Did anyone else start a thread?
I filed about half the tower of papers on my desk.
Had a job interview at one. Came home and started attacking the LR..... tossing papers and collecting random socks.
Running the dishwasher. Next up. .. fold some laundry. ..

andrea You just got the Neat scanner - right? I have seen that advertised on TV - how do you like it? Does it really work as nice as it looks? What a treat to get all of those documents canned and saved. Are they saved to your computer hard drive? Ended up going to the dentist last night. I did come home and did some ironing and put my ironed clothing in the closet. I need to finish the pile of papers on my desk today. I also have a lengthy list of To Do's for work. Have a Great Tuesday everyone!

ohblondie - yes I did just got the net scanner though I got the smaller one but absolutely love it. When you buy the scanner they give you one free month of cloud service but I also bought the one year subscription to the cloud for about $130. It definitely is as good as the commercials say but it does seem to take a little longer but it has still made scanning my documents so much more easy so it was well worth the price I paid. Today I was supposed to be going to Restore to volunteer but I am unable to get my car started so dad put on the charger to try and get the car started. It really seems like when one thing goes wrong everything comes crashing down at the same time but hopefully will still be able to go to Restore for a little while.

Thanks for starting the thread, ohblondie.
I'm going to get another load of laundry in the washer - right now - before our pipes freeze again. Maybe I'll wash the bathroom mirror, while I'm up.

I am seriously upset about earlier today since I wasn't able to get to Restore since I didn't get my car working until almost 1 and at that point I had to go pick up younger ds to take him to therapy, then fed him, came home, did some cooking and then went to cub scouts and just got home a short while ago. Tomorrow I have a bunch of things I need to get done but am seriously hoping I will be able to get some work done in my room or maybe get over to Restore for a little while.

I like our local ReStore. Sometimes they have the coolest items. it is like going into a candy store....I want it all...
There is a contest going on at the ReStores in our area. THEy are posting pictures of Restore Makeovers.....Buy an item, take a pic, restyle the item (paint, whatever) and post your makeover pic.
I think the favorites will be voted on and I am sure there is a prize. I like to wantder thru and try to figureout what could be done to items. I am not that good at it though. But I can appreciate what others have done.

So far today I've tried to get back on track, to where I was: when I'd do some things before logging on. I've fed the animals and I also managed to put away the load of dishes in the dishwasher. Yay for Soos, it was your motivation I needed to get it loaded last night. It's garbage/recycling day so the kitchen is looking much nicer with the debris gone from the corner. I'll be *so* happy when I can toss those things right out into the blue box, instead of storing them indoors while the box is upside down all week to keep any snow out of it. I am seriously going to wash those figurines today, in celebration of having running water. I think I might even get the ick off the window tracks too, while I'm at it.

Ok, I'm off to get the cat litter taken care of, and fill some garbage bags. I'm going to purge anything gross from the fridge, and this should be interesting, since it's been neglected for a few weeks. Oh goody! I can clean the fridge today too! Yay! Nothing like going without running water to make you appreciate it, and *want* to use it. Cleaning party, here I come!!! Hmm, I think I'm getting slightly carried away here. I'll all type, no action. Just how much will I *really* do today?

Good afternoon ladies! I realized that if I didn't close facebook, and log in here, I wasn't going to get anything accomplished this afternoon. The sun is shining, and I think it might actually be a couple degrees above freezing outside right now. Hopefully some of the snow/ice will melt. It's my only weekday afternoon/evening when I am home, so Here's my list: Water houseplants Fill bird feeders Work on organism presentation for school. This week's organism it will be a protist. (This isn't due for 7 weeks, but I have to present 8 organisms, so I'm trying to do one per week.) Work on the next couple of modules for school oops I just remembered that I was supposed to call in for a meeting/conference call at work 30 minutes ago... I saved this post at this point so I could call in, but, but then decided that the meeting was really not that important from my standpoint, and there are people at work today who will be there and can manage w/o me. (I think the meeting should only have taken about 30 minutes.) Organize my school notebook. Laundry Dishes Sort though some mail/papers Trash out Go over stuff for my class I an teaching at work on Friday.

Wow, I did it! Ok, I didn't go so far as to actually scrubbing the inside of the fridge, but the day's still young - you never know! My collection of dog figurines are all clean, and drying in the dishwasher. The shelves have been vacuumed (OH how gross, that it's so dusty that I need to vacuum them first!) and wiped with a damp cloth. The window was worse that I thought, but it's 90% better. I'll redo it in the spring, with the steamer. It's too cold out today for that kind of cleaning. I also vacuumed the bedroom and kitchen. Plus the bathroom - and the blinds too. That's my 'new way' to get the dust off them. And cleaned the counter/sink, and vinegar rinsed the floor. Yeah!

OK....shredded piles of mail last night and got envelopes and such in the recycle bin. I found a soup can on the front porch and I brought it inside and tossed it in the recycle bin. I thought it fell out of the bin as it was headed out to the curb and I assumed that someone was too *** to bring it inside and just tucked it in the planter out front.
Well - I guess I was wrong - that can was being used to sprinkle the ice melt. Well - unless someone pulls it out it will be recycled next weds.....
Tonight is clean out the fridge night....guess that goes in the weekend workalong thread.
