UPDATE: Effective Sept 1, 2015. Chrome has disabled all workarounds for Java. There is NO method of using java in Chrome now.
----------------------------------------------
Old post in April 2015: Chrome 42 and above has disabled Java and several other plugins because Chrome is concerned about security risks with such plugins.
There's a manual fix but Chrome doesn't recommend it. But if you must use Chrome, there's an easy fix: Here's how to do it.
Never mind. It doesn't work anymore.

Yuppers, that's what to do and I've been answering tons of support tickets with that information. Glad you found it and apologizes that I've not been around much of late. We've been working hard to release AddonChat X which is still in beta and 95% finished. A bigger mess that I've had to deal with in support is one affecting MAC users.
