TML......the bathroom was decorated before it turned into a storage room. I am wiping layers of dust off of everything!!
Today my goals are to finish the bathroom and finish some laundry. An hour of yard work would be a bonus. Ironing would be icing on the cake. Let's see what actually gets done.

Way to go on all the progress made!!!
I got a lot done yesterday, I'd hoped to make more visual progress on my clothes than I did but it'll all come together today
TADA! *Changed my sheets *Made my bed *Folded 2 loads of laundry *Unpacked a tote so I could use it to store clothes *Got all my clothes in current rotation put in totes (no more stacks around my dresser!) *Fixed DD'S dresser *She put her clothes up (no more stacks in her room either!) *Purged and organized my drawers releasing myself from almost a whole bag of unfitting, worn out underpinnings *Contacted the families I'm donating clothes to and posted their needed sizes on my door where I wouldn't loose them *Battled the sock monster, he hasn't been slain but he took a fair amount of damage. *Got hubby to deal with papers on his dresser. Of all I did that was the most emotional as he became very defensive and his sharp words were triggering. I wish he would take more pride in our home. When we got this place and I agreed to try living with him again, I made it very clear that our reconciliation was dependant on providing a safe, functional, stable environment for our daughter both physically and emotionally and if he is unable to do that, her and I will move out. I will not force her back into squalor nor will I live in it myself. I see this is something we are going to have to address in counseling, another of my conditions of reconciliation. *Made dinner *Unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher
Today I'm doing some backlogged laundry starting with the now leaning box of clothes I've been using for a "night stand", sorting my 3 donation boxes into sizes, boxing them up by family and setting up pick up times, if they aren't out by the deadline they'll go with the other stuff to Salvation Army.

Wow openwindows......you are on a roll!!!! Sometimes it takes some time before all of our work has a visual impact. By the way you are moving along...it should not take long. That was a great idea to post the sizes on the door. That way as you wIsh and fold and sort....you can organize into the proper piles/boxes.I also think it was a good, idea to give the recipients a deadline to get the stuff and to donate elsewhere if it is not gone. I got up early.....too early for a day off. Fed the dog. Tried to nap ( ). Gave up and started on laundry. Put towels in dryer. Another load in the washer. Folded a pile that was on the rocker. Started to lead the dishwasher. Made a delicious cup of coffee. Waiting for wash cycle to end so I can shower and go to church. Well....I hear the washer spinning tos I better drink this coffee and get moving.

Good morning everyone!
Openwindows, you are making progress! Getting excess clothing under control makes a huge difference in how our homes look. Now I hope everyone picks up the donations you're saving for them.
I'm leaving for mid-day work in an hour, I'm still not sure of my schedule later, waiting to hear from one more person before I know if I have a dog walk this afternoon.
I did a load of laundry this morning, washed cat food dishes, PEEPed until things look pretty good. Plans for this afternoon, when I get home, include a good bathroom cleaning.

HI Everyone!!! Diane I am glad you did not get a black eye and it is feeling better. jendela In case I forget to mention it your are an inspiration to me - you have managed to get your house in shape where a catalog from Dec 2014 seems like it is bad clutter and overdue to be thrown out. I hope to get there some day. Right now old papers would have to be in the 90s for me to raise an eyebrow. lucie Yay for garden work!!! What kind of raspberries? My grandparents had black and red. Out here on the US East Coast, I can only find red. I got a few things done yesterday but not nearly the huge plan that I had wanted to get done. Plus I managed to lose a car key and a credit card. So hopefully my stuff will turn up. I had breakfast and fed kitty and now I am starting to do some decluttering (ie. looking for lost stuff) before I start on laundry. Diane I did a little of my fridge but did not get it all done. I am going to do a little bit more today. openwindows Wow ohblondie Hopefully with just a little dusting you will have your decorated room back. Caffeine sounds good - I need to get some.

TML, we have commonn red raspberries. I have never heard of black ones. Or do you mean blackberries?

No, there are black raspberries they are different from blackberries. They are smaller overall than blackberries and each little seed unit is smaller (less juice pocket around the seed). Plus they taste different and are sweeter. The black raspberries were always my favorite and they were what my grandmother made into pies. The red raspberries usually were just eaten straight or put on top of cereal. I can remember my first what the heck moment when I bought a raspberry pie and it turned out to be red raspberries. The only time I had ever seen red raspberries in a pie before was when they were lightly mixed with the black (majority of berries) to make a nice color contrast in the pie. The black raspberry pies were so popular that we usually had them for birthdays in the Summer along with the cakes. I may have to one day plant some bushes in my yard so I can make the ice cream and the pies. Don't bother ordering the black raspberry amish pie filling as it is a few berries with a lot of cornstarch pudding (yuck). A real pie is filled with berries with sugar and some flour mixed in (no cornstarch fillers). black raspberry bushes

Good afternoon--what has everyone accomplished today??? I just got back from work, I stayed a long time at my senior client's house, doing some extra cleaning. I'm now sitting down, resting my feet, eating lunch, and figuring out what to do next. It turns out I'm home for the rest of the day. I think I'll work on the bathroom, but alternate with other jobs so I don't have to do it all at once. Diane

All I've cleaned so far in the bathroom is the sink and surfaces. I got a half hour phone call from my decluttering client/friend, and I also put clean linens on the bed. Onward.

Well TML, we all know that "petting kitty" gets priority. Toilet is cleaned, bathroom floor swept and hand washed. Diane
