Okay, here are my goals.
1. Try the stretching again. I'm going to say an 8 minute session every day because 8 minutes really does sound less intimidating than 10 minutes.
2. Continue the blind cleaning project. I've accepted that this is going to be a long project that goes on forever, so I'm setting the goal of finishing the last 3 blinds in the sunporch over the next 2 months. 2 of the 3 will be the most difficult ones in that room because one is longer than the others, and 1 is behind a heavy metal lateral file cabinet that will have to be moved completely out for me to reach the blinds.
3. Summer clothing. I have a washer in my apartment, but my dryer does not heat, so it does not actually dry anything (I run the clothes through it to take the cat hair/lint off, but have to hang them up to dry afterwards). In winter I can dry even a heavy pair of jeans overnight because I can put them on the radiators. But in summer things take way longer to dry, plus with the humid weather jeans will actually start smelling moldy by the time they're completely dry.
I had hoped to get a new dryer by now but that isn't going to happen, so this summer I have to make sure I have enough clothes, especially jeans, to be able to not have to do laundry every day. When I do wash them, I'll have to dry them in the building laundry room in the basement, which means I have to have clothes to wear to go down to the laundry room.
Also, I can't ever find jeans that fit, so I always have to buy the closest fit and then "fix" them with my sewing machine--I have to shorten the leg hems, and I have to make the legs narrower because they're always too large. I HATE this job, because I'm not a seamstress and it takes me forever. I currently have 2 pair of jeans that fit, but that need to be sewn. I have 1 pair of jeans that I wear now (just one). I could probably get by with 3 pair, although it would be nice to have one additional pair.
So my goal is to sew the 2 pair, see if I have any other jeans that might fit, and if not, buy another pair. I also have to check to make sure I have enough tops, and socks--because I've been seeing little holes in several of my socks. I don't want to limp through the summer constantly worrying about whether I have clean clothes, and having to stop and do laundry more than I need to.
4. Bathroom/Kitchen/DR. Due to past (bad) repairs, lack of maintenance on my part, and a building plumbing repair that had to be done by breaking through my kitchen/DR walls several years ago, there are a lot of places where there are cracks/spaces around pipes and in walls. Aside from a current sewer issue in my building that is causing a smell problem, there's also the issue of bugs having easier access to my place through those cracks, and I lose heat through them as well. I would like to figure out what I need to do to close up these cracks/holes, buy the material I need, and actually do the work.
This is a big goal, because I don't really know what I'm doing and will have to experiment. But I think it's time I try.
5. Book selling. I don't have a specific box/time goal for this, but I feel I have to add it to this challenge or else I'll forget all about it. I still have boxes of books in rooms other than the LR that need to be listed, but I also have to go through my whole inventory of books that have been listed and check to see if they are still "saleable", and if not, remove them from the listings as well as from my apartment. This is a huge job, I did it a couple of times before and it's many hours of work.
The goal is to keep the "book job" in mind so that it doesn't get pushed to the end of my to-do lists, and to hopefully at least get that review done.
6. Short-term goal--rearrange pantry floor storage with my "new" (salvaged) small bookcase. Requires moving everything out of there because the bookcase will hold items currently on a different storage cart, then the cart can be used for my microfiber and other cleaning items. I've measure the bookcase and I'm pretty sure it'll fit but lots of rearranging to do. Also, I have to hose down the bookcase outside since it's dusty. The surface isn't smooth so a dustrag won't work.
So there they are. These are some big goals and I doubt if I'll get all of them done, but I'll try to do as much as possible.
