Over the weekend I made up my FINAL!!!!! (can this be true?) weekly and yearly (project) lists for my cleaning routines. (Although I did forget to add in my zone plans for doing monthly cleaning.) So I am going to transfer my lists here for this entire week, and add my project plan for this week, that will get done slowly throughout the week. This project plan is also on the weekly challenge thread. I will add in my zone plan for this week later. My weekly list is now according to tasks, so the zone will center on 1 room. Actually for this week it will most likely be the spare room, which after handling a lot of the clothing and accessory sorting could use some extra TLC. In addition I now plan to handle 1 paperwork activity each day, instead of trying to figure out a day to do it, and since the spare room also contains most of the paper piles, that should work hand in hand. (Sunday should have been sorting papers, but I didn't do that - instead I opted to enjoy a more relaxing time and catch up a bit on my crocheting. So I am now behind in that respect.) My list for Sun Oct 22 - Sat Oct 28/ 17 (although posted a day after starting). Most of my plans for this week center around the zone of cleaning the LR and DR windows, plus some locker re-organization, and maybe some errands. My weeklies for this week have gone back to 1 room a day. Last week I got my bills and recording them current, so it seems like overkill to do them daily. But I didn't work on any paper sorting. Now that part is included each week, and the bill-paying tasks are included with the spare room tasks.

Last week turned into a whole week of flux, so most of my list changed along the way, although I didn't change the one listed here. I decided to go back to planning out zones (1 area each week) for deep cleaning, and then make the project list related more to decluttering things and insides of closets and drawers plus a few seasonal tasks.
However today I received an early email from cleanmama.net (Becky) saying she had posted a video on her cleaning routines. Note I had tried out cleanmama's routines several months back, because out of all on-line lists they most resemble what I want to do - a task a day. I cant recall why they didn't work before, maybe because I was trying to work it around doing waterfit 3 times a week, etc, but I haven't gone to waterfit for several months now. (I will add that I have been thinking about it, and just yesterday considered doing an evening class instead, and seeing how that works - but whether or not I do it, my mornings are now more open.) I noted with cleamama that her dailies are similar to mine, she does weeklies by task, and the only thing I cannot accommodate is daily laundry, especially doing all linens on Saturdays). But she also has a side bar on her monthly schedule of tasks to do that month - equivalent to what I want to do in my zones! So in essence she already has done most of the stuff I need - and I just need to add my personal stuff and my project for the week. So that is how I plan to proceed for now.
In addition, I was recalling an old 'heading' used in the SHE system, called On My Mind, or OMM. For me that seems to be a great heading for any personal stuff I want to do, or keep track of, or even my project of the week, and I can check it off as I go. So in my next weekly list(s) I will be incorporating cleanmama's plan into my own.
Also I have been following Carol Tuttle's Dressing Your Truth (DYT) with it's energy profiling, that leads also to wardrobe choices etc. This week (Thurs) she made a huge announcement that her on-line courses are now free!!!! So I started doing those, got through 2 parts out of 4. Some times trying to navigate got jammed up, but I'm thinking that she might be having a huge volume of people doing this right now, so I have now backed off for a few days, but hope to complete that this week. I'm positive that I'm a Type 4, and so have been trialling clothing and makeup re this anyway - still in the midst of that process, but now I will have more info available.
I also started a Christmas prep blog, although I don't know how much I'll need to prep for Christmas. I've already been working on the cleaning, and the rest is worked into my weekly project list.

Sun Nov 19 - Sat Nov 25/ 17 I kind of tottered with last week's list. This happens when I change my routines mid-week, but I still try to work with the same list. In the end I mainly worked on deep-cleaning areas in the LR and DR, and ignored much of the weekly stuff. But it did make me realize, as the LR was going back together, that I really like the end results when working by room, a satisfaction that going task by task does not give. So that will be the basis for this week and hopefully for all future lists. (Do I dare think that far ahead?) As usual my main goals will be Christmas preps. This week is putting up the Christmas villages, with the main one probably in the china cabinet. And making Christmas cakes, maybe. (I'm still behind on the cookies) Since a lot of work for Christmas preps was in the LR/DR, the zone work of the spare room did not get handled. But this week the zone is the LR/DR, so I may still backtrack to the spare room. I got some stuff handled in there yesterday, so now the main issue is paperwork and extra cleaning. At least I can sit in there now. Thurs This past week I did not accomplish as much as I had hoped when I made out the list. In addition I kept wavering about my true 'Type' - 4, then 2, then 4 again - and so kept moving everything back and forth between closets and 2 storage totes. Now I am certain I am Type 4, so at least everything is in the right place, although still needs organizing. Because of this switch-around, my laundry needs kept changing too, and ended up getting delayed until Fri - where surprisingly I was the only person using the laundry room Fri AM, and I did more Fri afternoon, but it was still light use, which really made me rethink my laundry day and possibly my weekly routine again. In addition, I now have an old friend coming here Sat and staying overnight while we attend some Christmas craft fairs etc, so my week will also be based on prepping for that. Firstly I need to finish getting my villages set up, then prepare for her visit, with the potential of deep-cleaning some (or all?) of the floors, plus maybe some baking. The good thing with her is that she set the precedent of easy meals, often store-bought items, plus she already suggested ordering in, so NO expectations, thus lowering my stress, which I will probably do anyway. Even so there are a couple of extra things I'd like to buy to have on hand for now or in future. With the thoughts of a new routine, I'm considering Mon and Tues for projects and deep-cleaning, Wed for rest, catch-up, maybe paperwork, Thurs for groceries and errands, Fri for laundry and linens and a bit of cleaning, and Sat for rest of cleaning. But since she is comig Sat AM, this wont happen this week - but I will make this the basis of my cleaning, but note if I do things earlier in the week (or later.) Last week I had several 'challenges' in getting my Christmas village set up, and I switched my locker to a better one. I also did a bit of Christmas shopping. And got all of my floors damp mopped. My friend was coming to visit Sat. and today, so I wanted this all out of the way before she came. I did not get to the point of any baking, and I decided to leave my tree until after she was gone. And I'm not even sure if the smaller village will go up or not. So with this upcoming week I want my main focus to be on the tree and baking. I am not one to put up my tree all at once, so it will have to be in stages, probably a little each day. In addition I really really need to work on this crocheting, so I will likely spend my evenings watching Christmas movies and doing that. I'm pretty much done the deep cleaning until after Christmas, so my projects now are mostly Christmas preps. I also decided to re-try following the housekeeping plan posted on a blog called The Confident Mom. I tried it before but I was also trying to co-ordinate something else, so I was trying to do too much and it bombed. I hope this time to follow her exclusively, for a fair trial, and then just add in my projects, which are my Christmas preps. Her weekly lists change a bit every week, and she posts her lists a full year in advance, from dailies right up to deep cleaning. So I will base this week's list off of hers. My dailies are similar, except I don't do all of hers since I don't do things like laundry every day. But I will try to make an evening tidy as part of my routine. Maybe this week I will just post the list each day, and have my OMM (On My Mind) stuff and her list of extras and my projects at the bottom. Making a list for the week is difficult, when things change and so do the things you can do. Sometimes when I am feeling overwhelmed, I take out my little notebook and write out very basic steps. I need that today - I actually need it about once a week. Here is today's mini-list: Dishes, soak more Shower , dress Make bed Dishes, soak rest Shake out DR tablecloth outside Plump raisins Finish putting ornaments on kitchen wreath except wreath now in bedroom - too much glitter near toaster Water plants ADD: vac around plants and Christmas tree Empty vacs Clean bird cage Finish dishes Scrub counters , stove top Prepare cookie dough - put in fridge to cool Check laundry - is there a load? Check freezer - plan supper Take kitchen knickknacks out of small tote Take larger tote to locker Toss garbage Bake cookies Dust while cookies in oven Laundry? Vac LR DR kitchen entrance Put up balcony decorations (Still more to do but this will cover what's bugging me most.)

I baked cookies last PM. The DR table is now a mess of ingredients and dirty dishes. I had delayed cleaning until this was done.
