Your picture is beautiful. The colors are remarkable in the boldness. An actual farm in southern Italy!
I'm feveriouly reviewing Mediterranean garden style bedroom decorating on the internet. I want to use the print I posted and bring in the colors from it to match the bedroom. Tomorrow I'll be holding up a lot of clothing in the colors to see what my choices are. This is what I'm keeping in the bedroom.
The Powder blue book case, the deep royal blue drapes, the velvet royal blue plush bed cover, and the deep royal blue vase. The deep walnut brown diamond carved Armoir, 9 drawer dresser/vertical mirror, 2 drawer night stand is a complete matching bedroom set. I'm not sure on the grandfather clock (same color as above) as to if it would even go into the scheme. Maybe people don't have this type of clock in their bedroom.

Have completed and checked off some items. Hubby has put the grid on the picture itself. Tomorrow I'll paint the wall. Both of us will put the grid on. The mural will be 50" by 50". It will be centered between the cornor wall and when the door stands open against the wall. That leaves a nice space on each side of the painting for candled black iron sconces. Hobby Lobby has some beautiful medium and large ones 50 percent off.
script: This is such a crisp picture in bold color from Italy. I'm thinking of using the boldness in accents!

;DThis shows the top of the armoir, the long dresser and mirror, the aircondioner that I'm covering up with something, my curtains that I tied back. These are NOT the pillows or comforter that going on the bed. The dark navy blue blanket is staying. The boxes came from under my bed as well as 12 hard folding metal chairs. I moved my bed under these curtains in front of a headboard stand. Same picture. Those lines on the wall have been painted over like the wall color. That is one of my black cats curled in a ball in the right hand corner. This is where I stripped the bed and moved it from the wall where the mural is going to be. You can see the headboard. The curtains are a deep royal blue. The two dressers, air conditioner and Mirror. The lower part of the book shelf I have to declutter. The upper top of the book shelf I have to declutter. This is the actual drape royal blue color, and I used silver metal bracelets that slid from the bottom up to where I wanted. I then moved the head board in front of these, then the bed. This is the wall the mural will go on. At the bottom is the headboard with the two electric blanket controls. I moved this under the drapes and finished painting the mural wall with the same blue. This is the grid drawn on the right hand of the mural wall. Any nail holes or holes will be patched and painted as I am working on the mural.. View of the grid wall at an angle. View of the grid wall kind of straight on. The light above didn't help much either. This is the coolest of all. It's the grid layout of what the finished mural will be. Look closely at the grid. I'll transfer every little square by drawing it in pencil first to the mural wall. The detail in the picture is perfect. The mural will be astounding when it's done. I can't wait to start!

I did a lot more work on the bedroom. I hope to have the bedroom done tonight...except of course for the mural.
I talked with my sister in law yesterday and she said she would be glad to do the after pictures on her digital camera and put them on a cd for me so I can bring them and their full color to you guys!
I also bought the white, black, yellow, red and blue paint for the mural. I will start the drawing of it today. The drawing must be completed before the painting...

I will start the drawing of it today. Holy Guacamole! I am impressed! I can't 'make an O with a glass' as the olde eye-talian proverb says. WOWOWOW! luv from Script (ps: any room in which DH & I sleep might be called a mediterranean bedroom given our blood-lines: 100% italian)

Well, now I'm blushing. The bedroom is getting there...I quit for tonight. I'm tired. Those clothes on the book shelf pooped me out.
You should see my sister! Man, she can pencil draw a person's portrait in a 3" X3" square to detail! When I go through my pictures I'll show you the Geisha Girl she carved out of Jade Stone. She took the stone carving class at the community college in Hurley, New Mexico. I understand now that since she moved to los cruses, New Mexico a couple of months ago, she taking a class in basket weaving!! SHE is super talented.
