Hi startingover, good luck with your long list! Jendela, I'm glad you're working on paper! I'm happy to report that I've been steadily working on posting books and have finished checking 2 whole boxes. I posted the ones I could, there are a few I'm keeping and a few that I'm going to trade. The rest are in a box for the little libraries. That's 2 out of 5 boxes for the winter challenge. I might try to work a little more later if I can, but I have to make dinner now and my decluttering client is due to call tonight and we haven't talked in a few days, so that'll probably be a long phone call. Diane, you are making great progress with your book sorting. I am working through papers - gosh, I can't believe how much stuff I have, and want (rather than need) to keep. Even so, the space in the recycle bin is being filled up. Diane, if I ever get through the papers and magazines, then I will start sorting through my books.
Also, washed more dishes, leftovers for lunch, checked filo pastry and found it had gone off, so tossed, set DW to run.

Thank you guys, I'm always happy when I can get a few more books out! I did go back and took a few more books out of the third box and checked those also, because I wanted a few more books to fill up one solid little library book box.
I'm now going to get ready for bed--to those of you still working, good luck with your goals for the rest of the day!

I am thinking of asking hte director for some career advice. I might ask her to mentor me and help me take one more step up. I know the first thing she will tell me is to clean my desk of the clutter.
So guess where I am starting today!

I caved last night. Back was hurting and my legs tingled bad when I got up so I just went to bed and got a good night's sleep ---well, as good as it gets most nights I'm up and coffeed and load dw and set it to run this afternoon so I can unload it when I get home. At least we have the van back after 3 weeks of repair after we hit a deer. Hi-Ho! Hi-Ho! It's off to work I go! See ya later and I hope y'all have a productive day!!!!

Good morning! Mimi, I hope your legs feel better--is this an ongoing condition or did you injure something? Ohblondie, good idea getting your desk uncluttered before talking to your director! Wow, I really wanted to stay in bed this morning and sleep longer. I have 4 busy days coming up over the holidays, although the early walks don't start until Thursday, so tomorrow is one more day I can sleep late if I want to. I guess it's time to focus on getting to bed earlier--I can never do that unless I really concentrate on it and pretty much force myself to get into bed before I feel tired for a few nights--then eventually I get on an earlier schedule. Hi tnmimi I hope that you are feeling much better today. Sorry that your back took you out last night. Hi Diane I didn't want to get up this morning either, the revving engine of a dump truck in the cul-de-sac woke me up . It doesn't belong here and I think they did it to disturb some neighbors. Lukily, I wouldn't have gotten our meal prepared and in the crock pot had I slept one minute longer! I hope you are able to continue to get good sleep with your schedule change. Today is going to be another busy day. I'm so tired though, at some point I'm going to have to take a "power nap". I want to put the lid on some more projects today! Thanks Diane. I've had arthritis since I was 18, so used to dings and dents but my back has rarely bothered me and WAAAHHH I'm whining about it! I'll go see a Dr. after this Thanksgiving holiday if it doesn't get better. I've been lucky in my life that old Arthur attacks me in an area and usually leaves it with just a little stiffness and BIG bone spurs. I can still get down and weed all day long with kneeling pads and a flipped over bench to kneel on so I can't really complain. But like a lot of us, I'd do much better if I lost some weight----that is something I CAN do for my health.

Just back from grocery shopping I got 3 big bags for only $49! Almost everything I bought was on sale! Put 90% of it away as soon as I got home and washed my hands. Eating lunch now: egg salad sandwich on oat bread, sun-dried tomato hummus on multi-grain crackers, vanilla Greek yogurt, and iced tea.
