Good luck tnmimi! Current standings are bread:2 Windows:0 I'm conceding defeat. I've managed to mess up 5 loaves of bread in 12 hours. Rolls are being replaced with biscuits. Hope everyone in The States has a wonderful holiday. I'm going clean the flour off my kitchen and self, walk doggie dear then head to my mom's.

Happy thanksgiving to all who celebrate:).
Diane I hope you get some time to enjoy the holiday between walks and pet care. You provide such important work. I love it when I am gone and have the security of knowing my little guys are well taken care of. We bought them baby food today for their own little thanksgiving treat. Yesterday I did two loads of laundry , my thanksgiving grocery shopping was done and I bought dd some needed dress boots for the holiday season. Also washed the table cover and cleaned my bedside table. Did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Did some financial paperwork for about a half hour.
Today a little baking. Gather up some baby stuff for little niece. Then off to our dinner
Enjoying being home and not at work!

Hi magda, I really do enjoy taking care of the animals, especially when I know their family is gone and they need the attention. It started to rain during my last dog walk, so we went home early and played fetch in their living room for a while! I'm achy again, I guess I'll be achy every day this week. I'm eating lunch now and when I'm done I'll start on my first list: Put lunch stuff away PEEP back half of apartment Wash cat food dishes Diane

I also think what a wonderful dog sitter or pet sitter you are Diane! Really, not that easy to find here in my area! It is a steady rain here, grey day!
So to have a wonderful person like you, that can be trusted and does more than a quick walk and see ya, here is fresh water and your food, PRICELESS.. and I know you probably not charge priceless prices either!
Day half gone, 3 pm here! I spray painted the lantern top yesterday. To take my thrift top replacement, from white to black. It was just warm enough and I do not spray paint in the house.. It turned out great.. Today I put it out on lantern, and one teeny spot on knob on top I can see.. AND I can not find the spray paint? I have the cap! Seriously I swear I brought it in, not keep in garage too cold. I looked and looked, and the house is not that bad, but apparently it might be. MIA. I even checked the garage. I GAVE up! Raining now anyhow.
My guy friend who move from called me, while I was outside of course. Two calls a week I get I missed it.I called him back. He tried to talk me into making my 10lb turkey I got at Aldis for 99 cents a lb. Maybe, maybe not I told him. He lost his house, and is living with a couple, his friends. He loves to cook, and food is love ya know. It was a good call.
I warmed up some chili, one reason I can not cook turkey, I have no room to freeze leftovers, I packaged up the chili individual and froze.
I did a load of cold wash sweaters. I have lost so much weight that my huge stash of clothing, I can shop at home. So finding things I still have GW tags on.
I have not been in a thrift shop other than to help guy friend or ex BF look for clothes in 3 years. I have to do that, and did cold turkey. Not even furniture, because until I wear what I have or redo the furniture not buying anything. Last Dec I ordered a new pair of black slacks on line. I felt they were too tight. I wore them Tues to meet with someone, business dressed up.. AND worried they might fall off.. I do not weigh myself but go by my clothes. I can not eat when emotional distress. I try a few things on as I go.
I did work in my garage a bit when looking for the darn paint! The goal is to get the furniture out of there, and my car in. I have no where to put it. Working on plan.
Gee it feels like night.. I plan to start a new novel. Need to work on list of interior things and how I will tackle that. Reading the film kit instructions, try on bedroom window. I need to get drapes up in living room. Which means I need to move things in there..
SO it may not be a real work day, but getting things done is good any day.
There are a lot of people working today too. I think that sometimes people forget that too, and that is not always a choice. Two women in an office that I was in this week, they said they have off Friday, but not get paid. That hurts for them, and I do not think people remember that not everyone has a paid holiday or even vacations. Or that most of us can not go a day without pay. Happy Day all

Hi misssue, thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you got your painting done, but I'll be waiting to hear where you finally find the can of paint! The pigeon cage is totally cleaned. I had planned to put the pigeon in the carrier during this so he wouldn't get scared, but decided to try it with him in the cage, and he was fine--did not get freaked out by the vacuum cleaner at all, unlike my cats! He just craned his neck to watch what I was doing. When I took his little box platform out (he always goes on that if he's nervous) I got him to climb onto my hand and then put him up on the perch, and he was just fine. I vacuumed the whole floor of the room too, with the crevice attachment--not the most efficient way to do it, but it finally got done. Next: Quick wipe of kitchen and bathroom surfaces Sweep problem areas Print new book orders Diane

I'm home from my last 2 walks of the day, it's kind of weird outside, very warm, and still kind of drizzly--it's definitely not the usual Thanksgiving weather! I have a feeling I'll be in bed early tonight--I'm very tired! I didn't finish my last list, I still have to deal with the mail, I'll do that and finish eating my dinner and then see how much energy I have left.

All I have to do now is medicate and feed the cats, and brush my teeth, and I'll be ready for bed. I'll read for a while but hope to be sleeping early.
Good night to everyone, I hope to see you all tomorrow!

Mornin'! Oh, I like that term, Diane!! Knock-Knock Ready!
I hate it but I'm going to have to go shopping today or tomorrow. DGD15 need some jewelry for a dance-----I wonder if Walmart has something she could use?? We have a nice costume jewelry store but it's kinda pricey, and I'd lots rather help her with her HS Track fee due in about 10 days. It's $400 or $500!!!!!!!! I won't have any till next paycheck and then only part unless DH takes some out of savings. Her parents can't afford the whole thing I know.
Anyway shopping is on my agenda for the weekend and I guess I'd better just lump it.
Ok I have a K full of dirty dishes but overall I think I can work on washing up some camping stuff (sleeping bag, pillows, etc.) and maybe wash off more of the back porch or some of the front porch. Yes, it's that warm today!
TADAs: Dressed and brushed up Make up bed Load and boot dw Clean off 6ft table and get DH to take upstairs (DH decided he wanted to start a jigsaw puzzle on it so it's left downstairs)
TODOs:
Move stuff out of laundry room that got stashed there
