Oh, and no, I haven't bought a toaster. I continue to use my old one, standing there for about 2 minutes holding down the handle, while reading a book. I still might get my toaster oven down from the shelf and try that--I just don't know how well it'll work. Plus, I'll have to stand there anyway, to watch the toast and take it out at the right time. OH! Cool water cooler! Thanks! Oh, I'm glad the toaster still works, even if you have to stand there holding down the handle. I probably would, too, cus I use my toaster 2 or 3 times a day. You sound like me, Diane. If something in my house isn't working correctly, I just make do. Sometimes for months or years. If my brother sees it, he just shakes his head and then usually fixes it.

Wednesday! The halfway point through the work week for me!
Slow start this am. Had to figure out my new meter and take out all the trash. Plus there were flurries in the air so people were driving crazy. Back to the bus tomorrow.
Ready to attack my list and to make today count!

Slow start here, too. I slept til 8:30! I never do that!
Very cold (3F) and very sunny again. My shoulder is bothering me again. Probably from moving the heavy snow the plow shoved into the bottom of my driveway again yesterday.

Good morning! I'm still feeling really awful - I even broke down an took some OTC cold & flu medicine! But I'm going to have to drag out the garbage even if it kills me. Maybe the fumes from the evil gloss will wake me up, and kick this cold? Here's hoping! I'm really wasting this week, at this rate.

Diane, what books? Oh my head's fuzzy....maybe I should lie down... Despite feeling like death warmed over, I managed to do my *major* Wed. duties: cleaned the cat litter, sprayed the evil gloss on the bathroom counter (and scrubbed the toilet & sink) took out all the garbage and recycling - I even got rid of some old hummingbird nectar powder, in boxes that I found last week. They don't use the feeder anymore, ever since the honeysuckle vine took off, so I'm donating the feeder and tossed the old food.
