Mouseane, what does H2 O2 do for bugs in plants? What is it, exactly?

H2 O2 is hydrogen peroxide. It can be used as a natural insecticide. It's good for the plant, because it breaks down into water & oxygen, but it kills bugs.
3% (what's in the medicine cabinet): 1 part peroxide plus 1 part water. 35% (DO NOT spill this one on your skin) 1 part peroxide plus 10 parts water.
The garden hose is still in the middle of the kitchen, got home about 8:30 pm.
When I got home yesterday, I unplugged the crockpot. Before bed, I strained the broth, tossing the bones & skin. It's in a 1/2 gal canning jar in the fridge. Looks yummy.
You know how you always spill some & its a mess? (Well, me, anyway.) I just figured this out. Get a baking tin, 13x9. Rather than trying to strain straight into a jar and knocking off the strainer, put the strainer on a 4 cup glass measuring cup. Set the jar in the pan, too, pour into jar from the measuring cup. Yay, pour spouts! Much easier to wash a baking tin than the counter & floor & stovetop.

wildpony, I guess I was kind of misleading, I spoke of canning the broth and I put it in a canning jar. I didn't "can" it yet. I may not. Just make soup twice.

Got off work really late, finishing up a tax return. (Yay!) ran to groc store, wasn't able to get the deli things I wanted, clerk was absent from 8:50-9:00 pm, then the lights went out. ??.?? I did get cold ckn livers. Also bought a glass bottle of mexican coca-cola (real sugar). the bag with it in it fell over. Then when I opened the door, I forgot to be alert & it fell at my feet, on the concrete floor, shattering around my feet. I stepped carefully.
This morning before work TaDa! trimmed deadwood off the two plants I brought in gathered, took out house trash swept the glass up, out from under car. That thing really exploded, the glass shards covered 10'x10' area. I was really leery of pulling the car out, but I checked the paths the tire would have to take. The bottom of the bottle bits were really wicked looking and would easily mess up a car tire. I picked up no where near enough glass. I looked again, and swept up a few more small bits after I pulled the car out. No idea where it all went.

I've been meaning to post today, but haven't yet.
This morning I got up, unloaded the dishwasher then went to the dentist. After the dentist, I did a little shopping. I tried on about 10 tops at Kohl's, but only bought one. This afternoon, I've done a few odds and ends here and there, then went for a walk. I just started a load of laundry
to-do: Continue with laundry Make pizza for dinner (I already made the dough for the crust) Take a shower
Pay bills. I've been putting this off for a few days. Get ready for bed

customer service, well, I totally understand about her being in the back doing clean-ups. I saw her go back there and decided to wait on the bench. I really wanted their beirocks, but I heated the ckn livers in the microwave. Pretty yummy.
After I checked out, I asked at the front counter what time the deli closed. it was 9:00, pretty close to the time I was there. The lights could be on a timer. The hot things were put away, but the cold pre-prepped food was still in the display. TWO people at the front offered to help me get the deli food, I said no, I understand about wanting to close up/clean up shop & that it was fine.

Thrusday morning - Hi everyone. I got my large project finished and delivered yesterday. And the house is a mess from it. Today's task is to get everything put away and cleaned up.
Done: -morning quick pick up -cats fed -surveyed 'the damage'
Todo: -clear tops of three project tables -enjoy post breakfast tea -find videos to watch while working

done: -cleared tops of 2 project tables -recycled what was possible -trashed what was possible -gathered 'to be put away' items/tools together
todo: -wash round 1 of dishes -clear table 3 -take down and put away tables 1 and 2
I'm making faster progress than I thought. Good to have the right tossing bins available. In the past, I would not have even thought to clear out a project the day after it was finished - it all would have just sat there waiting for 'some day'. But now I'm really liking the more or less neat, open appearance of the main part of my house. It's also very nice to have ample space to set up extra tables and have plenty of room around them to walk.
