Coming up next.......Like the WIT thread, this is a place to list the jobs you want (need!) to get done next. This can be a list of 3, or it could be just 1 single job. It could also be all the jobs you want to get done by the end of today! Whatever works for you!
You can come back and check off what you've done or just refer to it whilst you work, and not post again. You can cheer on others and ask for support, or you can just lurk and get inspired by others achievements. Again, whatever works for you!

St Nicolas' day today, so he will need to 'virtually' visit, hmmmn, after dance in between showers and bed! As it's not really our tradition, in our house he brings them a chocolate St Nicolas, a gingerbread St Nicolas and a book.
Done:
Breakfast stuff away. Load dishwasher. Recycling. Ask dh nicely to empty mouse trap.
Coming up next:
Locate St Nicolas gifts and hide somewhere near where they'll place their shoes. Wrap books from St Nicolas.
Reset mousetrap.
Shower and get dressed.
Tidy bathroom. Clean bathroom.
Load washing machine with darks. Bring down dry washing from spare bedroom. Tumble dry washing to finish off. Fold dried washing.
Put clean washing away - me. Put clean washing away - dd. Put clean washing away - ds. Put clean washing away - dh.
Sort all bags of hand me down clothes to give people at Christmas. Tidy spare bedding away in the spare bedroom. Move things around in spare bedroom.
Buy a charitable gift online for my grandma for Christmas.
Sort out all gifts we already have. Wrap presents we already have, lots have been delivered over to family directly.
Make dd a picnic tea. Fetch dd from school and take to dancing. Go grocery shopping. Fetch dd, go home, put groceries away.
Some time this week:
Go and see tax office about filling in some forms. Write Christmas cards. Make list of presents we still need to sort out / order / buy. Order presents for dh from me and the cheebs. Sort out ds's birthday party. Sort out what dd wants to do for her party / order a cake topper for her. Fill in ds's home / school book for his medical appointments next week.

Good starting with a plan RoadRunner. Going super slow here, and struggling to get on the site... Found Rover has worms, so no wonder he's been down a bit the last few days. Gave him a worming pill, treats and let him out to go and hunt down more mice...!

The site has been slow load for me too this am. Ah! Joint Laser Game Birthday Party sound perfect. Is Laser Game the same thing as Laser Tag would be for me. www.lasercraze.us/images/laser-tag-arena-WB.jpgDS and DD both went Laster Tagging for the birthday last year. I wish I could get them to do a joint party in February. DDs birthday is in January and DSs birthday is in March, I think a big party in February is the perfect idea.....but the kids do not think so. Off to work.....

Yes birthday was end of October, during school holidays, but somehow it's just not happened, and now it's nearly the holidays, we will be away then dd has her birthday in Jam 4th. He can still invite all the friends he wants, minus his sister! She can invite who she would like and we choose the option where they get 2 games. I suspect one will be girls v boys then the next could be mixed up. They provide sweets and drink and we will take 2 cakes. We haven't ever done this before. Ds has his party there last all his friends went on to do the same thing! It was fun just the few of them but sometimes other kids had their ovary at the same time as other people and that worked ok too, so I reckon 2 parties, but both our kids could work ok. Ds's girlfriend is so sweet with dd. Ds's best friend's sister is one of dd's friends, so although ds is in the 4th and last year at the school, and dd and her friends are 1st years I think there's enough overlap that it could work. Plus dd and some of her friends are super tall, and ds has twin friends who are tiny so it's not going to be big against small Here they have a weapon, no target / special vest etc, the weapon is also the target. They get unlimited 'rounds' and in the opening talk they get told about playing fair etc. I spun it right and they both seemed keen !

Birthday Party will be great fun and you do have a good overlap, so it should work very well.
We did do the party pack when DS and DD were younger but now that they are older the just get a group of friends together and go. We do late evening now, I leave them at the laser tag facility to play a few games and then come back with pizza and they all just come out to my vehicle and eat pizza and drink between games. Later on I come back with cupcakes. In between times I shop. (: The place we go to is at the beach so it is on stilts so underneath is just a huge cement area, the boys take their skateboards and ride them under neither in between games. It cost 29.99 for unlimited plays. We stay until about 12:00 am. It is about an hour away from home and we have a family cottage at the beach so we just stay the night at the cottage.
I do miss them being little, but the older version is good fun as well.
Ok I am at work now and need to hunker down and get the day ready.

Dd fancies a sleepover, but we could only squeeze another 2 as an absolute max into her room.
They don't really do birthdays properly here. Though primary school we did traditional English with games, pass the parcel, full in savoury and sweet tea, maybe 90 minutes, 2 hours tops. Here they do 3-4 hours, no structure, no rules, as much candy as they want and a cake.
That does sound nice. Here we pay per child, minimum of 6 or 8 kids, I forget which. Can choose 1 game, 2 games and cake or no cake. But French cakes aren't great so we go for 2 games and our own cake.

Ds just turned 14 and dd is nearly 12 so, yep, they're growing up. Could do without dd's hormones, but otherwise it's a nice age just at the moment. Had lunch, need to crack on, not in the mood at all, but have serious catching up to do now. Btw, am intrigued at your ds's clothes out comment, is that really what I think it is?!! Dd has trouble sorting out what to wear, but I do expect ds to get his own clothes out, though he does it the night before. So much done over your way already, wow
