ahhh Serendipity. It won't last forever. I've been putting mine in a tub on the floor to clear space if I let them go too long and they begin get the better of me. Its easier to begin again then, for me at least. Try not to leave them too long because if you are anything like me, the downness compounds with great amounts of failing to take care of yourself. Can be a cycle that is hard to break. If you just wash today's, that is a good start. A couple more than that is brilliant. Thinking you need to spend hours washing dishes is not helpful. cleanbee, Louie, def6 and imamess. and I'm having trouble with my access here. and cant scroll on whatever thread I go on. Its all very hit and miss to read anything. anyway, hoping this will post. Apologies to anyone I've missed. edit to add - this time it works to scroll and page down. Sometimes it goes on strike I have no idea.

imamess - you remind me. My dishes need to join yours in the draining rack. Dishes now resting in dish drainer. I think I worked up my scrolling hang up. It doesn't like the new message button result to page up or down, but a new window helps with that.

Waving back to Serendipity - at just making a start. A start and then daily effort works so much better than a marathon that builds resentment. I would just do a load at times like that - then pull the plug. literally.

I am home from 3 day meeting. I washed the dishes before I left, so happy to come home to a clean and empty sink

I sucked at this challenge so far this year, but I did the dishes and got the kitchen cleaned up last night . Since I didn't have to face the mess this morning, I feel so much better today. I don't know why I can't do the dishes every night, since I have to do the dishes eventually anyway...

I think I worked up my scrolling hang up. It doesn't like the new message button result to page up or down, but a new window helps with that. What "new message button result?" I am not seeing anything different on the pages here. It might be your browser you are having issues with - was it recently updated? You can always use the up and down arrows to scroll. On dishwashing... My sink is empty. I have a small pile of dishes and utensils to wash, which are sitting on the table. I'm still too squeamish about my roach problem in the kitchen to wash in the kitchen sink (although I haven't seen any in about a week), so I will do them in the bathroom. I am going to have to get over this apprehension and dread about going in there. Ugh, I feel like such a baby.

...Then somewhere (not sure if it was here or not), I read the suggestion to bring dishes to the bathtub and do them in there. Clever idea! That's a great example of my belief that every problem has a solution and to keep trying until you find something that works.
