oldgold, So sorry to hear about the mice & spider visitors. I'm so afraid of mice getting in my house again. I'm always on the "lookout" for "evidence."

I threw away a couple of handfuls of stuff from a drawer in my bedside dresser. 1x tee-shirt went in the rubbish because it is too old and worn. 2x jackets went into the Op shop box because I got new ones.

Another 100 books donated to the op shop together with one leather jacket, one sweater, one T shirt and a pair of slacks. Three large bags of general household rubbish that wouldn't fit in bin taken to the tip. total to date 1420 items gone.
In - more wildlife, this time a fat healthy looking six inch lizard that won't stay still long enough for me to catch and put outside. Pity it wasn't a bigger one or it might have dined on the mice and spiders. Just goes to show what happens when we disturb their natural environment, there's nowhere for them to make their homes but in what we consider to be our territory. Two years ago when trees across the road were being cut down to build a house, we had several koalas take up temporary residence. Before that when the house next door went up it was a plague of rabbits. Thank goodness we don't have bears, mountain lions or coyotes here in Australia.
