Coming up next.......Like the WIT thread, this is a place to list the jobs you want (need!) to get done next. This can be a list of 3, or it could be just 1 single job. It could also be all the jobs you want to get done by the end of today! Whatever works for you!
You can come back and check off what you've done or just refer to it whilst you work, and not post again. You can cheer on others and ask for support, or you can just lurk and get inspired by others achievements. Again, whatever works for you!

Have a sound asleep fur baby on me, not so easy for typing - he goes from my lap right up to my chin! 100km winds last night and we were under an amber warning. V. heavy snow is due to start in a couple of hours and go in for days. Rover came and slept down my back just as I was going to sleep, then moved to the bed. I hear him coming as he makes clucking noises all the way up the stairs, along the landing, round the bed etc. He came up to lie on me again just after 5, not like him just at the moment - generally it's more like 6.30 just before my alarm goes. He didn't settle down to sleep meaning he wanted to go out, but with the wind and heavy snow (originally forecast to start overnight) I wasn't going to let him out and go back to bed knowing he had no way to get back in. I did, however, need a wee so had to come down to the bathroom. He definitely wanted to go out, but huge progress - he didn't kick up a fuss or go and wake anyone else, he just used his tray. But he's a fastidious burier, so what with him digging downstairs and dh snoring next to me it took a while to get to sleep again. Dh doesn't wake me snoring, but if I'm awake it does bother me. Anyway, so far it's just v. icy, I salted already so that at least the snow will be settling on a non slippery base. Dh says our road that the Maire has done is the only road cleared so far, and he has just driven to work on in sheet ice, through another village, small town etc, all not salted or gritted, in first gear and idling / sliding all the way. Only a few accidents, but amazing that there were not more, he said from idling in first it still took 20 odd feet to stop at a junction, when there was a row of stationary cars right in front of him, not nice. Freezing rain I guess. Can see the greenhouse is open, and the irrigation tank is off the shelf, down to the winds I guess. Will need to go and sort that before the snow starts. School buses were cancelled in the next village as dh saw kids walking home again, but ds is unobtainable on his phone so in theory that means our bus has gone. Hope that doesn't mean anything more sinister, but as they have a no phones in at school rule, even in the playground, and he should be there by now I'm going to assume the best case scenario there. Friend is fetching them at 3, I said at the start of the year that I would do it every week for my two plus two others, except for snow and ice days and they said they'd pick up then. RoadRunner, I am so sorry to hear that you're still not feel well and not getting better sleep. I hope the meds worked and that you managed an easy osh day and maybe a nap to catch up some, maybe now you're sleeping a little better, you should be in bed just now. thedreadedknock, just in case you pop in, know that I'm here and rooting for you if you're ready at any point to come and join in. List in a few mins...

Weather reporters aren't being very accurate just now, a few tiny flurries, but mostly blue skies and sunshine. Not looking like a 4 raindrops heavy snow fall day so far!!!
Silly hyper cat is being destructive, need to out him outside again to play but he's hiding behind the sofa...

Just a quick pop in to say hi . We starting testing today so for the first 3 hours of the day I will just be watching student test. Testing procedures dictate that we can not do anything else while student are testing except watch them. 3 hours of watch ugh....it is hard for me. I love your stories about Rover. Kitties can be such snuggles, especially in the middle of the night. Stay dry and warm today. Will check back in later. TODO Testing

There's not a ton to do around here since we are just visiting. If I do any regular chores like sweeping or wiping down my Mom takes it as an insult. As though the counter needed wiping and she neglected it. Even though I'm just trying to help and look for busy work. Lesaulerouge, glad your DH and children got to their work and school safely. We only had about 2 days of winter here in Texas. You would laugh. The ice is thin enough to melt with your breath but we still have so many car accidents it's ridiculous. Now we are back to Summer weather. Congrats on DS downsizing her doll clothes. I know that's a victory. Oh man RoadRunner hope you feel better very soon! I can definitely understand how it takes away your ability to concentrate. Yuck. My Mom has Bronchitis and DS has a cough of some sort. No fever, just a cough for about a week. It is contagious, whatever it is. Keeps trying to creep up on me but I keep on with the vitamins. My list is short so far. Have some guys coming to build a shed in the backyard this morning and we will just try to stay out of their way. Parents aren't up yet. It's 6:30 a.m. here. Just trying to be quiet and keep the kids shushed.
Coming up next...
De-wrinkle sheets Put sheets on 3 beds Give DS meds Brush and braid hair Feed kids Fill out online paperwork (Dreading this since it'll take about 2 hours minimum.)

Been away from the board for way too long, and it's definitely showing in the house! (To put it mildly.) Installers are coming tomorrow to replace the dishwasher, so time to prioritize some tasks and get things to be at least not completely embarrassing. To do: change cat box pick up living room vacuum living room clear off kitchen counters wipe down kitchen counters wipe down kitchen cabinets sweep kitchen floor mop kitchen floors clean off island Done: change sheets unload dishwasher reload dishwasher put away laundry in dryer start laundry organize cupboard that overflows & drops things out on my head (constructive procrastination)
