Hi All,
Not really new -
Haven't posted or really even looked at this site - in wow - almost a year.
Hope you are all well and I wish you All a Very Happy New Year!
It's been a tough year for me. Physically and emotionally. Don't want to go into my "issues" much except to say that I am (still) dealing with complex PTSD, anxiety and depression. (But these conditions are not as severe as before.)
My biggest squalor issue is administrative - my files and paperwork. STILL !!!!
I am very motivated to get back on track into getting my life in order.
(I received so much wisdom and support when I was here before.)
Will be starting a blog in this site to track my progress (one step at a time) as I begin my recovery - Stepping out of Squalor.
Thanks for being here.
Hugs,
Meg

Awww thanks for the "Welcome Backs".
So much and so little has happened in the past year.
It is great to have a place (here) to come back to.
And not feel judged. Or like a failure.
Just accepted. And welcomed.
This is a good place.
Sending hugs and peace and hope for little bits (or BIG) bits of progress to all!

Welcome back:) It seems that we deal with the same things emotionally. My squalor is mainly general clutter.

I remember you. I especially like your avatar and seeing it brought back some of the things you talked about. Welcome back!

Good to see you back. Sorry that you are still having some issues but glad they are improving. I will jump in here and there on your blog because I have a mountain of memorabilia clutter to clear out in 2017 too One bite at the elephant at a time. Or as this vegetarian likes to say, one bite at the watermelon at a time. PC

One bite at the elephant at a time. Or as this vegetarian likes to say, one bite at the watermelon at a time. PC Thank you Phoenixcat. I think elephants are wonderful animals. That expression brings awful pictures to my very active, graphic imagination. I know the folks using the expression mean no harm to real elephants, but hearing it makes me flinch every time. I also don't like to hear "pulling the trigger" to mean making a decision. As a kid I had a stepparent who often threatened me with loaded guns. So many time he was one twitch from really pulling the trigger. I don't mean to sound like one of those people who is always monitoring others' political correctness. But there are some things that push all my buttons. Sorry Meg! I wanted to thank Phoenixcat and I got a little carried away.
