Done: Cancelled a reservation Went to work Made three jars of lacto-fermenting veggies: one carrot, cucumber and dill, one cauliflower and lemon, one carrot and cauliflower with chillies, garlic, lime, mustard seeds and curry leaves. No idea how they will turn out - will find out in a couple of weeks. Burped my other ferments. Made "pizza" using my leftover farinata from yesterday. Cleared up some of the mess I made - not all of it because my toes were going to freeze if I stayed in the kitchen any longer.
To Do: Drink some more water. Log my calories for the day. Get to bed at a reasonable time.

I have about 2 weeks left of my history class and can't wait for it to be over. It is too intense. I start another history class a week or two later. I am a glutton for punishment!
ta-da: Up made and ate a healthy breakfast Finished loading the dishwasher and then started it Sipping on some tea
to-do: Start studying my history assignment. I think it's Africa, then the Americas, then back to finish up Europe. This is an Ancient World History class, and it is very fast paced and intense. Laundry Plant care Go for a walk-jog.

grace, Surviving can be considered progress some days! I hope things are settling down for you! ta-da's: Read the chapter from the text on African history. Looked at some of the additional material. Walked to the mailbox and to the chicken coop. It's beautiful out! Made a healthy lunch. I am in the process of eating it Did a load of laundry. Most of it has been folded and put away. There is still a towel in the dryer. to-do: Finish eating lunch. Do a quick review of the class material and then take the on-line quiz Start doing research for the essay on "Great Zimbabwe". Many years ago, when these ruins were first seen by Europeans, they believed that they were built by Phoneticians or some other non-African people group. We have to look at the evidence, choose some sources and write about the point of view of the researchers, because depending on the prejudices of the author, their conclusion of who built these structures changes quite a bit. (I have to admit, this is an interesting class. I never knew about most of the African history I read about today.) later: Go for a walk/jog Water houseplants Check chicken feed and water levels in the coop, collect eggs (There was a hen laying when I was out there earlier) Fill the bird feeder Prepare food to take to work over the next few days.
