house trash out
Worked in sewing room processed a 10 ream paper box full of junk mail shredded, put a bag of shreddings in car for recycle put 2 kitchen bags of bubble wrap in car for donation (they can use or sell) emptied 2 shipping boxes from feb 2015 (I was going to return most of it, but never got around to it, some was broken) put 4 empty shipping boxes in car for recycle put away lots of odd bits moved a shelf unit out of a doorway
washed/dried sheets washed/dried fold/hang/put dark skirts, pantyhose hanging to dry washed a steam load
Housekeeper comes Tuesday

Spent hours and hours filing papers. I had a professional organizer set up the filing system but it was not finished properly so had to buy more tags. Maybe we ran out of tags, can't remember now but I also had to add other files. I want to have another professional organizer come in and help me with the kitchen and computer room so all this filing has to be done before she comes.
Ta Da: got most of old papers filed added new files made new tabs did load of laundry and hung up work shirts
To Do: finish filing papers (can't get it all done tonight) clean up computer room floor clean off table at entranceway

ToDo: Take meds Get dressed and put together looking Go to gyno yearly checkup (it's been way more than a year)

Hi!!
TaDa: Went to dr for physical- not comfortable, BUT I am glad it's done now.
Hired professional cleaners for first time ever- they did my bathrooms, kitchen, and floors throughout house! Embarrassing having piles around to ignore, but now I can focus on those. I've come a long way over these few years.
ToDo: Take meds
Make lunch
Pay a big bill

Done: Full day in work Walked home Did my daily tasks
Mixed up sourdough discard with flour and salt - hoping it will have enough leavening (only a few days in) to make a thin pizza dough tomorrow Tested smoke alarms Ate tea
To Do: Make sure settee cleared at end of day and dirty plates etc. in sink

Monday March 20, 2017 (St. Joseph's Day) Today's Notes * Didn't take sleeping medication last night. Mistake! I sleep half the day with or without the med , but sleepiness all morning beats being awake half the night. * LEAK in new faucet/supply valve that plumber replaced last week. Puddle I noticed on floor was not dripping from me but from under the sink! Water almost pouring out of pipe when I turned on the faucet. Stuff under sink was soaked. Good news: I cleaned up that area when plumber came the first time, so it wasn't that big a problem. I set up 2nd plumber visit, visited condo office to get notices for water shut off, and gave them out. * Jenny Craig appointment. I lost 2 pounds this week Have food for another week (darn it is expensive, but at least if I descend into poverty I will be skinnier!) CLEANING? You mean I'm supposed to CLEAN? Take 10-20 minutes putting papers all over dining room table into their appropriate folders. This won't be the "final place", but just BTIW. I don't know if anyone uses this acronym BTIW? To me it means BETTER THAN IT WAS - something real was done and it is good enough for NOW. The perfect is the enemy of the good. Then time for nightly routine. (Except no walk, as I did a little)

QUESTIONS ON BEST WAYS TO POSTI've started my own list in Listzilla (Starting Again...), and I've also started posting here in WIT. I like WIT for daily posting because: * It is shared with others also posting their own steps daily (and there are a lot of users to rub shoulders with) * It can get down to minuscule steps each day * It is broken down at least by months (doesn't go on forever) I think my own list "Starting Again..." is good for separate things: * My own activity (others there just to comment) * Stuff I want to keep for a longer period * Not always at a day by day level My question is mostly about the use of WIT. My posting here so far is containing many non-cleaning items. I make no attempt to really use the 3-at-a-time method. Are there other everybody-shares-daily-diary lists that aren't so oriented to a specific method for listing? Or should I just stay in WIT (I like the number of users there, but don't like looking out of place and not being in the "spirit of WIT")? I do want to use 2 lists. Second question, should I have my own list converted to a blog? THANK YOU!

Went to specialist appt. today and need tests in hospital. After work I have been pulling old papers out of drawers, takes forever to try to categorize and file them
Ta Da: visited someone in hospital and got to specialist appt. on time After work continued going thru old papers and photos filing went thru some drawers pulling out stuff and putting it somewhere else where I would be able to find it
To Do: computer room floor recycling scoop cat boxes

TaDa: Dog care Meds Dressed for day Dentist to get 4 teeth filled, still need to go back another day for the three on the other side. It was awful. I'll be flossing more. ๐
