Cool little program! I very much relate the "list enthusiast" woman. I started becoming a list fanatic in my teens, when I realized that writing something on my hand in sharpie was the best way to make sure I didn't forget something important. I no longer do that, but I generally always have my list notebook with me or have a paper list in my pocket.

i'm interested in how people make their lists work for them. i'm hit or miss with lists. people that post great long lists on here or can think ahead, really impress me - i get kind of overwhelmed looking at a really long list unless it's broken down into smaller categories. just listening to that one artist/blogger obsessive list lady who was so organized and on top of days ahead, spiked my anxiety! vive la difference!

With long lists, I write it down and mostly let it go for a while. I only live life based on micro-task lists, although those are often based on what's in a bigger list written earlier. My short microtask lists I use from day to day are detailed to the point of being silly. Like: "1) get folding chair 2) move folding chair to beside fridge 3) get trash bag 4) sit on chair and open fridge door 5) find stuff in fridge to put in trash bag And THAT micro-task list not only gets checked off (aaahhh! so satisfying!) but I ALSO get to check off "Begin cleaning out fridge" on my older, more vague list once done. And THEN I get another reward by getting to make another stupidly detailed micro-task list for Operation Finish Cleaning Fridge.
