I may not finish my project tonight. The flash drive I bought doesn't work, so DH is going to bring one home for me. I'll return the other one tomorrow. I'm a little ticked about it not working.

It was actually quite alarming...Well yes, I would think it would be. Pamela, that's my fear too, I have all my favorite music on my computer but even though I have backup I still can't part with the CDs. Maybe someday! Diane

Magda, the friendly cat has been closed in a bedroom for the last week, there's plenty of room to walk around and a nice window to look out of. Of course, he doesn't get much attention and he's really craving that. After the neutering he'll go back into the bedroom for a week or so until his urine stops smelling like a tom cat. At that point, I don't know what will happen. Either he'll go into a cage on the first floor so he can get used to the other cats and the dog, or, she'll start calling shelters to see if she can get him into one. It's not quite kitten season yet (although we've had some warm weather so it will probably be earlier than usual) so she has a chance of getting him in. Or, maybe she's gotten attached to him and won't want to see him go. However, the other cat has been in a cage since his neuter, and he will not be able to get into a shelter, he's still too scared. And since she agreed to not having him in a cage for an extended period of time, there's more chance that she'll keep that one. So I'm not sure what will happen.
I know someone who's looking for a cat but she already has 2 dogs and probably shouldn't bring in another animal right now. Plus I don't know how the friendly cat will react to dogs, or how one of her dogs will react to cats (the other dog loves cats).
Of course, I've gotten attached to both of the cats and as long as she lets them out of the cages and they get along, I wouldn't care if she kept them. She had 11 cats when I started working for her, she's now down to 8, so if she kept these 2 she'd be back up to 10. She has plenty of room and she can afford their vet care. I don't think she'll want to keep both of them, though.

Okay, I just have to feed and medicate the cats and I think I'll be getting to bed. As usual for days when I visit my sister, I'm crashing fast!
Everyone still reading, have a good rest of the evening, I will see you all tomorrow!

I finished my project. It felt like a lot of music, but it was only just over 1 GB. I didn't do my entire collection, as there were some that I didn't care to have on my flash drive. Now, the flash drive is in my player, ready to go. Looking forward to getting good use out of it.
Not quite ready for bed, but I'm done for the day. Night all. Good work!

Diane I am so glad you are involved in these cats lives. I will pray for this cat for a wonderful life Well I folded the last load of laundry and put in a bin. It is for the consignment sale. Did some texting. Swept the kitchen floor. Watered my plants.
See you all on the week day thread!
