Hello everyone seashell - I cant wait until I put my summer clothes away, but it looks like it will be a while yet. Chris - yay for following through on the phone call mylittlescholar - I have never tried coconut water mixed with sparkling water, so I might try it one day. I hope that you can find some resolution with your friend magda - hope you are feeling better this week ohblondie - enjoy your travels Diane - still working on books! I should follow your good example, although we did donate around 6 books last week, as well as drop off the ugly CD holder to the charity shop Today - working on papers as I have room in my recycle bin.

I got a call from my decluttering client during that last list. And, I was looking through some of the books I pulled out of my DR cabinet last week so I can figure out how to get rid of them, and I saw a book on decluttering that had a very good line in it: "Expensive clutter is still clutter!"

Go, Diane, go!
Yeah, the cool thing is I can pack NOW, cause its with out of season clothes. im gonna try uber light, not my forte. but i already have the capsule!
i spilled on my keyboard again. put a blow dryer to it, but its still actin crazy.
wrote my friend a letter in an e birthday card. been trying to find the right balance of apology, friendliness and firmness. the story she told herself about the chain of events added needless suffering, and i dont want to supprt that. and its also a real opportunuty to deepen our relationship, if she wants to check out what i have to offer. but she hasnt really been curious, so it might not be for her.
i felt a LOT better after that. complete, like i can move on now.
i took cat to the vet. he said the pigmentation in his eyes does not look like a problem. BIG relief. i completely misunderstood the internet about a medical issue and worried needlessly. that never happens!
I am emotionally wiped out, but I need to move my body... i think ill put on work out clothes and work on the house a bit.

Good evening everyone! I am proud of myself today because I stayed out of bad food, and I followed thru with the things I had on my list -- called the minister this morning, went to the mindful eating book group (that was awesome! meets monthly! I really like the facilitator she's a counselor and she offers some other things that I may be able to take later on classes to help with my eating disorder!) DONE: * dishes * finished pouches (all 7 chakra colors and did the photo of them) * went to the book group * supper just now salad with grilled chicken The meeting spot for the book club is the Half Price Book Store. That was great as my husband enjoyed it so much for the hour I was meeting with the other ladies! My internet friend who moved here a year ago was able to attend -- it was funny I didn't recognize her at first and tried to introduce myself -- she had blonde hair 7 years ago when she visited here with her husband. . Brown and gray now. Whew. I have to sort my thoughts out and pick out clothing to meet with the minister tomorrow. Somehow nothing is quite right in the clothing department since I put on 3 or 4 pounds -- I'm up to like 169 and I had been right around 166 or so for a long time until this relapse here lately. I hope I can find something that I don't feel fat in. I can think of only one combination. Goodness. Plus it's hot here in the 80s again. Oh well. I have hope for the first time in a long time that I can lose some weight sensibly with this compassionate approach and with the intensive from the facilitator later in the year after my trip. She also offers counseling. I wonder if I'd be able to get insurance to pay for it? Wishing everyone a great night and I will hop on sometime in the morning. I'm going to unwind and try to get to sleep on time tonight so my head is clear to talk with the minister tomorrow.

Whew - what a day! Travelled 2 hours to give a 3 hr presentation, then two hours home. I had a nice salad for lunch so that made it worthwhile. I had a meeting which went a little late - but I still managed to come home and fold a load of laundry - get another load in the washer then get that load hung before I went to bed.
I explained to my daughter the Lenten challenge and how I am trying to do 40 of something extra every day. I am trying not to count the regular things that need to be done every day (dishes, laundry, sweeping, bathrooms, etc) but the extras (picking the piles up off the floor, donating items, etc). She seemed to understand.
I was in her room talking with her and I noticed how much neater she has been keeping her room. She still has a couple of stacks of boxes she needs to go thru from moving back home, but the floor was clear and vacuumed, her bed was made, etc.
Today - need to plan my day. and the week. I am on the road thurs and Friday so I need to make the next two days productive. I have a hair cut scheduled for today (wahoo - so overdue)and....tomorrow....DRUM ROLL PLEASE - Someone is scheduled to come and fix my oven!! I hope they show up better than the previous ones.....
OK - off I go - But I will check in to see how everyone else is progressing!
