Diane -- I hope your mid-day work goes/went well!!!!
DONE:
* shower * breakfast * wash dishes * email 1 * text 1 * washed dishes * started laundry load (sorted all) * led water meter person into gate
Hmmm ... low key day today.
Next is research, and preparing a sauce for tonight's meal. I want to have it all done so I can come home from the Y and have only minimal prep for our meal.
Email my brother, call Mom, go swimming, fix dinner, wash dishes. Hum drum but tomorrow we likely will get out some.

Look at that. It's still morning, and I'm getting started. There's a first time for everything. Hope everyone is having a good morning. Looks like you ladies have gotten quite a bit done so far. Done: Take neighbor to food pantry Eat something Moving forward: Cutting for Gabe's class - It's a big job, so I'm not going to add anything else for now.

It's still morning, and I'm getting started Hello Pamela, you're an early bird today! I'm home from my walks and senior client--she was out shopping again, so today I tried to give the scared cat treats from inside the cage instead of from outside through the cage bars. He was a little nervous but pretty soon he started taking the treats from me even though my whole arm was inside the cage--I think that's great progress. I wish I could sit down and work with him for a while with a toy, I'll bet he would come around quickly. I have to go back at 5:30, I'm eating lunch now and really want to work hard this afternoon so I can get things back in order. The kitchen and LR are now okay, but the DR still looks bad. Finish lunch Clean up after lunch Sort new pigeon papers Sweep sunporch Diane

Wow. That cutting project took two hours! I should not have volunteered to do this. And, I've got three more projects in the apartment to work on. Anyway, going to get done what I can before picking up T. Then I'll have another hour to work with.
Next up: Unload dw Reload dw Handwash dishes
I've got a little over 50 minutes to do all that. Let's see if I can.

OMG, the other day I quoted something from a book that I need to remind myself of: Expensive clutter is still clutter!
I still have the hideous green vinyl chair in my DR, and I decided to look at it and see how dirty it is, and if I had to wash it off before showing it to the person I thought might want it. In doing so I turned it over to look underneath it and saw a label with a name (Thonet), so decided to look it up online. I saw a different color chair, just like mine, that someone was selling for almost $300. Now I feel like I can't just put it out in the alley. But, I have no intention of trying to sell this chair. So...it is now expensive clutter. Yes, I know that just because someone was offering it for $300 doesn't mean someone bought it. But still. It's UGLY.
Okay, onward.

Had to run to the grocery and video stores after picking up T. Now I'm left with 30 minutes to finish up before starting dinner. I won't be finishing my list, but I'll get done what I can.

I very nearly finished my list. I only have one more thing. Maybe after dinner, I'll tackle that.
Next up: Make dinner: Fish stew. Wish me luck. The fish was slightly opened. I'm not using it. Now I don't know what to make. I don't have money for a pizza night. Looks like a PB&J night for the boys and a leftover night for me. I'll make up some rice and have the leftover tagine from Saturday. The good news is, I now have time to finish up that last task: cleaning the boys' toilet.

We had high winds here yesterday. Lots of people without power last night.
For the first time in a long time, I finished everything on my list. I'm very pleased with myself. Let's see if I can keep it up.

For the first time in a long time, I finished everything on my list.Alright Pamela! Despite having your dinner plans thrown off course. Ohblondie, I hope you'll be able to get home okay! I'm home from my dog walk, I was out a long time because after the walk I went to a local store and the library. I'm now finished with dinner, and although it's getting late, I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow until 4:30, so it wouldn't be terrible to stay up a little later. I'll get ready for bed and then see how I feel. Clean up dinner stuff Put water and shopping cart away Give everyone fresh water Restock drinks in fridge Diane
