Good morning everyone! Today and tomorrow there is painting in the hallway of my building, which of course, I have to supervise. It's not as bad as the recent electrical work though, because it should be straightforward work without any problems--at least, I certainly hope so! I also have my regular mid-day work and a 5:30 walk, so I'm not sure how productive I'll be today, but I'll try. Scoop litter pans Make bed Pigeon care Eat breakfast Diane

The painters are here, I sent a reminder email to everyone on this side of the building, and I printed a sign to put on the front door so people don't come barging in unaware.

Hi Diane-
I've got quite the cold so I'm currently laying down. I did get up and out and to a meeting at 10am, that canceled when I arrived. I have another meeting at 1pm then of to work @3:30. I should spend just a little time on my room, which is looking not so great these days, but I'm also so tired and want to rest. Slow and steady today.
Up next Work for 10 minutes in room

shellsncheese -- I hope you feel better quickly!!! Good luck with working on your room!
Diane -- I hope the hallway painting project goes smoothly! Signs are such a good idea as people can be so distracted these days!!!!

Hi to everyone!! Last night I made it to the art fair at the tea room and traded 4 of my pouches for 2 aroma therapy ceramic diffusers like you can hang in your car or near your work space!! I was thrilled with the trade!!!! I also picked up the necklace which I will take to my "like a sister" friend in Vermont when I go. My husband went too so we were not rushed and he seemed to enjoy himself a lot. DONE: * shower * drew out weekly layout in my bullet journal for March 12-18 * started load of wash (blanket, plus jeans and shirts of mine) * organized my yarn -- brought out a yarn bag/sort of thing that will hold my stuff and stay right near the couch. * thank you written to artist friend who made me a special picture frame * tidying up a bit around my desk * box ready to fix for my son's birthday So, today is turning out differently than planned for sure because I am meeting a friend for lunch at 12:30. It was a surprise invitation she texted yesterday. We have not ever had a chance to talk except in group type situations but I she is such an amazing person and I think I will really enjoy having lunch with her. My trip to the gym to swim is affected because I can't imagine the scramble with air and face and clothing to be ready .... I should be brave enough to try it but I've done that before with another friend and I know how stressed it makes me where I was going straight from the gym to that particular restaurant -- I'm thinking of walking instead of swimming today. Tomorrow is spiritual community services and board installation followed by a "dutch treat" lunch at the Mexican place next door -- so I need to check their menu so I know what to expect price and food wise. Next week we'll stay home . And home cook/economize. research menu of Sunday eating spot fold clothes call mom later lunch with friend cook supper and wash dishes work with a new yarn color and see how pouches come out package up pouches for friend who made the picture frame for me I guess it will be a simple weekend ... other than the 2 meals out back to back which is odd for me. I looked for a healthy option where I'm going today and I found something ... plus I can get water. Looks like our terrible rain and flooding has let up. DH moved the truck so I can take my car to this lunch today. He might go with me tomorrow and just join us for the luncheon part. I also need to continue to think of my brothers birthday .. I have 3 small things lined up ... I will be flying back to TX 2 weeks before his birthday and I kinda wanted to leave his present there for him when I visit. I'm off to continue to organize my desk area. I wonder what my friend does for hobbies or fun ... it's funny when you only know someone from church and volunteering you don't really know the whole person. I guess I can ask smart questions and get to know her better.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm happy to see so many people working on a Saturday. I'm home from my mid-day walk--it's really cold outside, I think the weather report said it was around 20 degrees when I left the house. This is just insane--we had 70 degree days in February and now 20 degrees in March. Finish lunch Clean up from lunch Wash more cat food dishes Cat feeding Diane

The weather's been similar here. I believe we had a January and February without snow on the ground. Maybe a light dusting in January, but I'm pretty sure Feb was snow-free. Now, we're supposed to get snow on Monday. Weird, indeed.
In addition to my planned tasks, I flipped the laundry. Not much left to do. Saturday is my catch-up day, and I'm almost caught up.
Next up: Unload dishwasher Tidy desk Flip laundry Put away load 1

Pamela, sounds like you're not far from me, we only had snow in December and none since. We might get some on Monday, but I'm not holding my breath...

Morning all
My boys were meant to have a sleepover at my sister's last night but my 5yo changed his mind so I picked them up at 10.30 pm. They've stayed there 0ften before so not sure why. I had planned to do a couple of hours housework before I picked them up this morning so that's not happening!
My immediate priorities now are:
Coffee and lots of it Get moving Breakfast
Then I'll make a plan B
