Good morning! Ohblondie, thanks for starting the thread. I was up at 6:30 and went out to shovel the 2 inches of snow that had fallen. I'm glad it was only 2 inches, it was heavy snow and we have a corner building so 2 sides of sidewalk, plus I always feel I have to at least make a path in the back courtyard. The snow is so pretty, we've had so little of it this winter. It's supposed to continue falling all day but very slowly, so there won't be a lot of it. Two other people in the building said they could shovel today so I shouldn't have to go out again later. There will be a bit more tomorrow and I'll be very busy with work so can't do anything about it then. I hope everyone has a great day today! Scoop litter pans Make bed Pigeon care Eat breakfast Diane

thanks for starting us off, ohblondie! hope your commute is uneventful. I'd love to go roll in the snow right now. It might wake me up!
magda before I forget, kudos on being able to have people over in an emergency!
I have not been to sleep. But I'd rather pull an all-nighter tonight than tomorrow night. I challenged on chat, then challenged myself on my blog.
most recently I've been trying on outfits. I think I've got a tight little capsule. Everything has to go with at least two things. Lots of layers. Comfort first!
DONE: write up helper's list research stuff test water bag fit try on bra w/ dress hide star wars stuff

Good morning everyone. I feel really good this morning because last night I cleaned my art table and most of my main desk too -- then I did a special journal page inspired by 2 things: some spiritual videos a friend sent me on working with the full moon energy AND the free Miracle Morning 30-day life transformation challenge Fast-Start Kit by Hal Elrod. There were so many similarities in the recommendations! I ended up completing the assessment in 10 (level 10 life) areas and pinpointing 3 main areas where I need to do the most work (I also saw how over the top I am in some areas which would be okay to just coast for awhile). My 3 main areas that need work are no surprise to me: 1. Career 2. Physical Enviornment (home/clutter etc) 3. Health and fitness So, I worked on a specific list of things I can do starting TODAY and extending the 7 weeks prior to my trip and then I had thoughts about major change I'd like to make when I return in mid May. It feels good to be so clear! DONE: * dressed (it's so cold I didn't shower yet but I have the furnace on warming the house up!) * looked up resources that I would like to order next allowance * prepared the package to send to my son - label is on ready to mail!!!!!! NEXT: eat breakfast, go to post office, gather clutter donations, take out trash, hope to get the back yard mowed -- DH's knee is hurt so it will need to be me this time! Other plans too but I want to be sure I get started .... not sure if the grass will dry to be done today ... it may have to be tomorrow ... but I can work inside on the clutter and get a healthy soup cooked for us. The 2 clutter categories I really need to work on are: clothing and books. Also, dishes because somehow the kitchen is overrun and I have not bought new things but Christmas time we got a lot of stuff for the kitchen which I do not (it turns out) use.

Good morning Chris! I'm glad you had such a good evening last night.
I now have to feed the cats again, get my bag ready, and go to mid-day work. See you all later!

Ok. Moving right along. I desqualored 2 slices of pizza for lunch. Small square pieces. Put in a request for tomorrow off. We are due to get 18 inches during the day. Might call in Wednesday as well. Reviewed two cases. Time to attack the desk

Continuing ... DONE: * dollar store for padded envelopes * post office (sent 2 packets and bought Kennedy stamps!) * Fixed chicken soup it is simmering on the stove It is still cold (for here) 58 vs. our usual 88 for this time of year except of course I do remember that MOST years we have this right at SPRING BREAK. Poor kids who came all the way down here to enjoy the beach -- it's overcast, windy and although warmer than their state might be -- it's cold for swimming and no sun for sun bathing!!! There are so many things I want to do but I need to keep in mind the 3 areas that most need developing right now: 1. career/work 2. health/fitness 3. environment/clutter That will help me not spin my wheels with things I am very over developed in like personal development, spirituality ... those things can still be part of my day but more as a treat and fun activity during break and after hours. If I'm not going to write my book ... then I am going back to work when I get back from Vermont. At least a part time caregiving position or something. I knew this was necessary ... more for my mental health than for the $ ... if I'm not contributing in some more significant way I will remain sick. I plan to research the companies I have heard the most good about including the state program where you receive a stipend AND the legalities of working for myself and taking on only one client at a time - setting terms myself. The research is necessary. The small business development center right near my house provides guidance and info. I will need to break things down into smaller bites though. Due to how I learn, I often get stuck in the research and information stage and NEVER make a decision. 53 years of that. I've had enough! WOW -- just realized how HUNGRY I am and the soup is not ready. I will go make myself a sandwich now.

DONE:
* finished some leftovers for lunch! * transferred soup from stove to crockpot on keep warm * livestreamed bookclub chapter * organized work table for this afternoons Level 10 journal work
Next is call Mom. I had been pretty busy and although I called her I didn't have as much time to talk and was later than usual -- missed one day last week. Hopefully today will be a chance to catch up and not as harried/hurried.
Dinner is already made so I can work on two things: the journal exercise and the front bedroom piles -- and boxes -- sifting thru what is to be donated. I am also considering (lightly) having a yard/tag sale. There are some things too that I could take to a consignment shop but I have to weight that one in my mind -- they probably won't give me much -- a lot like 1/2 price books where you feel you got just barely any money the price of maybe one book new -- for a box unless they happen to be hardcovers or in demand titles. So, I could do better myself in a tag sale than that. Something to think about as a way to unload some clutter if the weather is right on Saturday. I will also consider that maybe donating is better use of my time.
Also need to find some socks --- somewhere in my stuff that I need for my boots that I have already packed in my suitcase for Vermont.
